This fool thinks he understands the 'anti-government' movement. He barely alludes to the anger that people feel over government overreach in so many areas of our lives, and the cops' role in enforcing that overreach. He then unveils a false narrative, brushing over the government actions at the Bundy Ranch, Waco, Malheur, and the innumerable police shootings across the country.

I find it ironic that he flashes a photo of the Constitution on the screen, yet he does not acknowledge that it is the government's violation of that Constitution, and his officers' roles in those violations, that has put his officers at risk. It is also ironic that the people he fears the most are former law enforcement and military who have taken up sides against law enforcement. (Perhaps in noting that in his speech it will spark other cops and military to READ the Constitution and choose a different path, thereby increasing the numbers of 'anti-government' activists?)

In the end, it is not merely the armed militia that the FBI is concerned about, it is the American People. Note that he tells his officers to be aware of citizen meetings and rallies in response to some government action, like a police shooting. Rather than act to protect the right of the People to protest, he sees it as a danger to the government.

His view is: the American People are the enemy, unless they are pro-government. Anyone protesting against a government action should be regarded as a potential danger to police.

He has drawn the battle lines. This will not end well for anybody, the police or the People.

This is really chilling. Presumably this video is intended to be seen by the police. It is a superb propaganda piece by a former agent-in-charge of the agency most famous for torture-murdering the Branch Davidians in WACO, TX. Cavanaugh is full of half-truths, outright lies, and facts-out-of-context as he smears anti-government protesters. His most ironic statement comes right at the end as he thanks the police(?) for their service and for upholding the constitution. I too, would like to thank any police that truly uphold the constitution.
