Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta took nearly 400 dollars out of my savings account!!!

Today I was checking the balance of a SAVINGS account I have with my bank and noticed nearly 400 dollars missing.

This is a savings account with no checks involved.

Yet on March 8th a "check" was issued against this account.

So I called my bank and opened a fraud claim and they agreed that had happened.

I asked her how a check could be written against a savings account.

I was told it was a bank error from another bank so I asked her which bank.

She said it was "FRB Atlanta" which to me meant Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. 

She also said that if I hadn't found it, no one probably would have and the Federal Reserve would have just kept my money.

So I told her I am losing faith in the institution which is my bank to which she replied "Well, they are ALL institutions."

I couldn't disagree but I told her that the Federal Reserve should not even exist let alone have direct access to my savings account.

This is just another in a long line of scary wake up calls to us all.
