I'm not aware of any glitches with the private message system.  If it says you have a new message in the left hand bar and you click on it, it should take you to private message area.  Then if you don't see a "new" message per say, it could because of a be a response to an earlier pm message thread and will show up at the bottom of that thread.  Those threads or new messages will be a different darker color from the rest.  If you are having a module problem though I need to make note of it as another thing to tackle.

However, I am aware of the odd sorting of the forum comments. It is annoying.  I think I just need to change the settings on that though.

Oh and I do think we need a better system for identifying "unread" messages.  So this is a priority for me to find a solution for.  I relied heavily on that feature in the past myself

Currently I'm exhausted from a long Christmas day (and week for that matter) so I'm probably not going to tackle this stuff tonight.  But tomorrow I should be digging back in and ready to resolve problems.
