Organic Farmers Appeal for GMO-free Zones, Win Locally

More and more, organic farmers are appealing to state and local governments for GMO-free zones, and winning the right to keep GMO crops away from their fields. Jackson County, Oregon is one of the most recent additions to the list. Organic and conventional farmers cite loss of income ,denial of certification and contamination of valuable crops as primary reasons to block GMO crops.
