I'm done worrying about Rand Paul's likelihood of becoming the 2016 Presidential nominee!
The following link, courtesy of The Guardian - http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/jan/01/us-presidential-election-2016-republican-candidates-donald-trump-ted-cruz-marco-rubio - really drives home the fact that Rand Paul is almost certainly been relegated to the ghosts of runnings-past. I honestly do not understand what it is we expect anymore from Rand, other than an honesty NOT the same as Trump. Despite his stances in filibustering against critical liberty-crushing legislation (often dismissed as theatrics), his message of hauling in militaristic spending and intervention (often seen as weak and out-of-step with the world we live in) and his willingness to tell seniors that the age for receiving Social Security will have to go up (seen as cruel and unsympathetic), he remains vigilant and critical of the media's bias in artificially choosing/appointing a candidate prior to giving a voice to the voters of this nation.
I for one, refuse to give any more time to the mess that is the media. I will be watching the next debate if Rand is included. If he is not, then I refuse to lose 2 hours of my life to establishment flavors.
Peace and Love always.
