Glenn Beck FINALLY Comes Out Against Rand Paul

BaneMaler Sat, 01/09/2016 - 15:58

Here we go folks.  The support of the pseudo supporters of Rand in high places is now making sure positive that he has his legs taken out from him if they have anything to say about it.  Glenn actually lies here about the similarity of Goldwater and McCain when they were both born in US territories.

So there is a difference.  Does Rand know?  I think he actually does in this case and though there is not any supreme court case available he might have gleaned what the founders believed about this.  I think Rand knows natural born means born in this country and not without, totally different from being eligible to be a citizen.

But instead they don't have Rand on the show to make this point.  They don't actually care because they always had their foot out the door for Cruz and this is the opportunity they were waiting for to officially align with him.  We will see if Rand calls BS on their premise that Goldwater, McCain, and Cruz have similar situations.

Cruz is not only not eligible for POTUS, he is illegally holding a seat in the Senate...

I don't claim to ever know anything, in fact i try not too:) ,

“No Person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty Years, and been nine Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen.”

I think this is the justification, i don't know: Because Cruz had duel citizen ship, in order to become and claim the natural born status he would have to relinquish his claim in Canada, which was 2014, but ONE could argue that he has NOT been a resident of nine years with that status... He has been in the country as a resident as a duel citizenship, but he has only been in the country for two years as a natural born citizen.

It's an interesting thought.  He would have to wait for another seven years before he could qualify, if this line of thinker were valid.

Seems like more is in jeopardy for Ted than just his Presidential hopes,  To think that he supported illegal immigration reforms which would likely have directly had an affect on his status.  That might be something else to look into.  Is there a clip that shows that he said him and the President were ineligible for office?

Beck leaves out 3 huge facts

Cruz was a dual citizen until last year

The Supreme Court has never ruled on the issue

John McCain and the pile of crap that he his was born to active duty military overseas which qualifies him to be a US citizen, Cruz has no military connection

Danton's picture

...namely the military base in the Panama Canal Zone (?) I believe, which satisfied the "Natural Born Requirement"...born on US soil (the military base hospital).

Cruz, however, was NEVER born on US soil, and although he became a "NATURALIZED Citizen", he will NEVER fit the definition for "NATURAL-BORN Citizen", an entirely different definition.

Why has no one called out Marco Rubio. He was born in the US four years before his parents became citizens.  So, does birth place citizenship qualify as natural born?  I wouldn't think so.

Are all sell-outs and pressitutes for money...selling their souls for ratings and the elite...I quit listening to those lying azzes after they all slammed Ron Paul...I rather listen to J Rogan telling it like it is whether I agree or not, he speaks truthfully and without being unbashful...I just wanna know who pays these people to lie???

or you chose to do so only out of convenience. It isn't surprising that few people follow the rule of law according to the Constitution.  Personally, i think you shouldn't be considered to be a natural born citizen if you have ever had duel citizenship. The purpose was to make sure that whomever ran for president had to assure allegiance to America and to no other country. It the same reason why I couldn't vote for Jesse Ventura for president, since he was born a natural citizen but chose to become a duel citizen.

She has dual citizenships.  She's also a Swiss citizen.  How many others also have multiple citizenships?  Rahm Emanuel has an Israeli citizenship for instance.

It all boils down to natural law and natural loyalties.  Ted Cruz is not a natural born citizen.  I'm sorry if that hurts anyones feelings, but its just a fact.

Ted is born to an American Mother and a Cuban Father in Canada.  Ted spent the first 4 years of his life in Canada and only renounced his Canadian citizenship last year.  His father became an American citizen in around 2008.

Yes he is an American Citizen but he is not Natural born.  He was born with at least dual loyalties and potentially a third.  He has a natural loyalty to his mother's country, to the country he was born in, and also to the country his father was born into (and was a citizen of for most of his life and may yet retain Cuban citizenship)

Furthermore three countries can claim jurisdiction over Ted Cruz technically.  Canada, America, and Cuba can all claim him as a citizen.

Now why do natural loyalties matter?  Because when you are the President and Commander in Chief of her armies you are in a position to wield power and influence.  If your loyalties are divided, it can affect the decisions you make.  If there arose a conflict between Cuba and America or Canada and America over trade, military, or threats to those countries we would need Ted Cruz to do what is best for America.  Maybe he would and maybe he wouldn't.  The very fact that it could be a question at all means that his loyalties have been divided by the nature of his birth.

All other elected positions in America are open to Ted Cruz except for the Presidency and technically speaking, the Vice Presidency.

No other country in the world allows a person with divided loyalties to become their King, president, Prime Minister, Chancellor, Czar, Dictator or whatever.

As defined in Vattel's Law of Nations written in 1758

§ 212. Of the citizens and natives.

The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights. The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent. We shall soon see whether, on their coming to the years of discretion, they may renounce their right, and what they owe to the society in which they were born. I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.

Furthermore, John Jay wrote to Washington during the Continental congress on July 25, 1787 with his concerns about

Permit me to hint, whether it would not be wise & seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government; and to declare expresly that the Command in chief of the american army shall not be given to, nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen.

To sum up Cruz is not eligible, but he is not alone.  Bobby Jindal and Marco Rubio are also not eligible.  Obama isn't either for the same reasons of divided loyalties but his is a much more complicated case.  John McCain was not actually born on an Army Base he was born in a regular hospital outside of the base.  He would be ineligible technically as he misses the "on the soil" qualification.  They had to pass a specific law to make sure children of ambassadors and children born on army bases to citizen parents would also gain automatic citizenship.  McCain might have a problem with his off base military birth, but he is the only real close call.  The rest are most clearly NOT natural born.

For those who don't want to listen... and I understand that, I couldn't finish listening to it, @ 2:48 he real idiocy begins
"Yesterday I read the statute to you. I...I read the analysis. It doesn't take very much to understand what George Washington and our founders were doing when they wrote that at the very beginning. And he knows that.
I'm sorry Pat, how many Presidents were not born in the United States?"
Pat replies, "The first seven."
Beck repeats, "The first seven."
Then they laugh giddily, surreptitiously, because they know they are playing 3 Card Monty.
Then Beck goes on about how one parent has to be a citizen and had lived in the United States when they were in their teenage years and at least 5 or 10 years, or something like that.
No mention of the Grandfather Clause, though he may have talked about it 'yesterday'... but even then... if he now insists that one parent has to be a US citizen that would still disqualify the first 7 presidents.
There's no way to make him see his error unless you can actually call in and get chosen.
Or write to someone there then post what you wrote on something lots of people will read to try to force him to acknowledge the email... but I doubt he cares. He's out to lie and misdirect because he's chosen his candidate and will go after any and everyone who disagrees with him.
As for McNDAACain traitor, where in the Constitution does it allow for military bases on foreign soil?  I can understand embassies, but military bases? I still question the constitutionality of that!

Laugh. It makes you feel good.

The Founding Fathers Grandfathered themselves in

Article II, Section 1

No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.

The phrase "At the signing of the Constitution" qualifies anyone who was loyal to the American Revolutionary War or who fought in that war as a "natural born citizen" as they put their lives on the line to form this country in the first place.

How could George Washington be any less of a Loyal American than anyone else in the country after committing the treasonous act of signing the declaration of Independence and fighting on the front lines of the Revolutionary War?  How can any of them not be true blue loyalists after what they went through?

The very fact that the constitution draws a distinction between natural born citizen and  ordinary citizen is a clue that natural born is of a different status.

Glen Beck is flat out stupid or just willfully pretending to be on his show.
