Bernie or The Donald?

I know I'm gonna sound like an appostate. I'm an old creep, what did you expect?

I'm looking at Bernie's voting record on sever dimensions. For an avowed socialist, he  has a pretty good track record on "issues".

I'm also a former Vermonter and there is one thing that Bernie always did. He  always stood up for Vermont which decriminalized pot years ago. Getting busted for burning a spliff in Vermont is like a parking ticket. That's awesome. And not many people know this but Vermont has always been an open carry state. Yup. You have always been able to carry a gun in Vermont, it's just that nobody does it out of hunting season. And Bernie did nothing to dismantle our rights as such. Vermont is highly armed it just doesn't make a big deal out of it.

Oh and I know some of his campaign people. I dated this gal in college that  grew up to be his right hand gal, his go-to gal. Very slender hips. Red hair. She married some other commie pinko fag but they are well intentioned commie pinko fags

But the one thing that totally changed my whole attitude was when his net worth was published BY LEFTIST MAGS.

BERNIE SANDERS IS WORTH ABOUT A HALF MIL. He's actually well south of a half mil in total assets.

Guys, my hot dog carts are with about that much. The man has not enriched himself in his office. Everybody else uses this as a stepping stone to wealth but Bernie has not done this. He's like one of the few successful politicians that isn't butt-ass rich. The guy actually eschews the payoffs. He's not on the payroll. I'm not sure he can be bought. He might have some screwed up ideas but he didn't ruin Vermont. He didn't try to turn Vermont into a socialist worker's paradise. Does this mean the man can be trusted? Well he's off to a pretty good start.

Adn he didn't enrich himself. He's worth roughly what I am. If I sold the milk cow and the wife and the kids and the tractor but that's how it is. That single factor to me is a great case for lesser of evils.

By contrast we got The Donald who will just start pushing all the buttons in a giggling fit just to see what they do. If you ask me, I think The Donald belongs in a sand box and deprived of sharp objects. And that's not even talking about the man, what really scares me is his hair. I think his hair is an alien life form that feeds on his brain.

When Donald Trump gets a hair cut his hair grabs the scissors and says YOU WANNA CUT ME? NO I CUT YOU FIRST! HA HA! I AM THE DONALDS HAIR AND I WILL BEAT YOU YOU NASTY BOY! ENGUARDE!

So I know this is a CallToPaul and you guys are Randians. And you are gonna ostensibly loose but don't forget we already won the war of ideas. Don't forget that just 12 years ago nobody knew what a libertarian was and nobody cared but the freedom message went world wide. Takes some time to trickle down.

Don't forget that it takes your average patriot 3 years of reading just to understand what we're talking about and it takes another 2 years of ferocious debate to form and defend your own take on it and never ever forget that our number one means of intellectual advancement is DEBATE. Which is the very civilized process of us kneeing each other in the balls and ripping our ears off and feeding them to us intravenously. Because we really are that tough. Oh yeah we're tough. Rip the balls off a grizzly tough. Yeah you guys are tough. Tough enough for school tell you what. I wouldn't fight you guys or even less, your women.

I got a gal that can shoot. What she's better with is a lunge-wip. I pity the man that comes against her, I know, I tried it once or twice. She gets that wild look in her eyes just like a ferile horse. You know to drop the halter and run for the fence for those hooves will flash and you get hurt real fast. Wild horses are dangerous.

WE ARE NOT KNOWN FOR GENTLENESS IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED. WE EAT FUZZY KITTENS FOR BREAKFAST. AND THEN WE HAVE TEA. PARTY. JOKE. HAR HAR.

Anyways, it's not all win or lose this time and it's not all on you. You don't have to win this time, all you have to do is keep your index.

You get that right? We used to say keep your finger on the trigger but now we call that "trigger bashing". Now we index. Notice how even people in the mideast index now? Seriously did you notice that?

If nothing else we got the whole world to stop trigger bashing. We even got ISIS and Al Queda to stop trigger bashing. It might not be enough progress but it's still progress ok?

You know we're gonna win right? But winning this time requires us to redefine what winning is.
