I did forget to mention that the site doesn't display well on my phone though. I guess I don't need to address that now though. :)
.
about creating a comment after you've already typed most of it.
or does navigating away without saving it do the same thing? Don't want something I've canceled to go out into the internet wandersphere, retrievable by geeks.

There is a feature that will allow things to temporary save just in case your browser accidently freezes but I don't have it turned on.

An alert for and record of replies to my posts and comments would be handy. I liked that improvement to PL.

I think this might help. your account>track.
"Jack of all Trades...Master of None" But forever learning more!
Yeah, i been using that, but I still have to manually sift through each thread and rely. It does say "3 new comments" but imagine when I have posted here 437 times and have to sort through all those pages of posts to find "1 new comment" on something from last month.

in a post or comment. Can you program it to open a new window, instead of the current window?

instead of right or left clicking, just click the link or video with your finger on the wheel and it will open it in a new window.

Add who the comment or forum post was written by on the listing on the right of each page (recent comments/active topics/new topics).
For example this comment would show up on the right side of the page under Recent Comments as:

I feel like you are going to think I am only here to complain and I'm sorry I've just become very passionate about having a place like this. Add a donate link is my suggestion this time
I feel the same way. But this site was created in record time and is in it's infancy stage with many things still to work out - to be expected. That being said, I think it's amazing what they've accomplished on such short notice. And the hosts have been requesting suggestions for improvement. Now's the time to share if there's something you notice that maybe no one else does.
We all want this site the best it could be, and part of that comes from suggestions. :-)
I STILL STAND WITH RAND!
I will ad a donate button at some point but right now I want to fix some of the esthetics and workability of the site
Thanks for the suggestion!
