President growing more libertarian as he battles swamp

President Trump sounds a lot like Rand Paul – or even his father Ron Paul – during military meetings by asking generals why they won’t bring the troops home.

This is according to a story in the Washington Post which tried to smear the president as “impulsive” – yet reading deeper into the article reveals that Trump leans libertarian when it comes to foreign policy – more so than previously known.

During the February 11 airing of 60 Minutes, host Steve Kroft suggested data showing more guns equal less crime is simply one of numerous “alternate facts.”

He was intimating that pro-Second Amendment facts exist, but those facts are often dispelled by anti-Second Amendment facts.

Of course, this is not how facts work. Instead, there is what is true and what is false, and facts distinguish the former from the latter.

Taliban terrorists have invited Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) to their political office in Qatar to discuss peace plans to bring the nearly 17-year-old war in Afghanistan to a conclusion.

The invitation, reportedly posted on the jihadist group’s social media accounts, came in response to Sen. Paul’s recent comments about the conflict, notes the Washington Times.

Two leading Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee released a redacted top secret email Monday that Obama administration National Security Advisor Susan Rice appears to have sent herself just minutes after President Donald Trump took office.

Small business optimism is booming.

Optimism among small businesses in the U.S. rose by more than expected, with a record number of small business owners saying now is a good time to expand, according to the National Federal of Independent Business survey released Tuesday.

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra is threatening to sue if the Trump administration includes a question regarding citizenship on the 2020 census.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that Becerra worries citizenship questions will dissuade some California residents from taking the census, thereby under-representing themselves and running the risk of a loss of federal funding for certain parts of the state.

The Republican-led investigation into the infamous anti-Trump dossier has recently revealed several intriguing links between Christopher Steele, lawyers, lobbyists, Democratic politicians, a former State Department official, and a Russian oligarch close to Vladimir Putin.

Unilever, one of the world’s biggest consumer goods companies, is threatening to remove all advertising from Google and Facebook’s platforms, citing factors like inclusion of “toxic online content” and the rise of “fake news.”

Co-headquartered in London and Rotterdam, the Netherlands, the conglomerate is unhappy with how these tech companies are being misused, and the purported lack of Facebook and Google trying to combat such exploitation.
