CNN obtained documents revealing police officers had shown up to the home of Nikolas Cruz, a former student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, 39 times since 2010 for a variety of calls ranging from “mentally ill person,” “child/elderly abuse,” “domestic disturbance,” and “missing person.”

Train Derails, Catches Fire In New York

A trail derailment near Attica, N.Y. Thursday caused multiple cars to fall off the track and catch fire, Spectrum News Buffalo reports.

Emergency officials are securing the scene, including the local fire department to put out the fire. The train’s engineer is being treated at a nearby hospital for a broken leg, a possible broken ankle and a gash to his head. The conductor was also on board, though his condition is unknown, according to Rochester First.
