The only lesson a rational person can take away from the Parkland school massacre, is this: federal and local law enforcement is either too corrupt, inept, or hamstrung, to protect our children. Therefore, we must protect ourselves.

In the days and months leading up to last week’s mass murder in Parkland, Florida, the American people did their job. They saw something and they said something — numerous times. Local and federal law enforcement were warned.

Justice Clarence Thomas blasted the Supreme Court Monday for refusing to review a California law imposing a ten-day waiting period on the purchase of firearms.

Monday’s case is only the latest in a series of pro-gun control rulings the high court has refused to review.

“I still believe that the Second Amendment cannot be ‘singled out for special—and specially unfavorable—treatment,'” Thomas wrote.

Nancy Pelosi was heckled by a town hall attendee in Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday.

“These are kitchen table issues for America’s families,” the House Minority Leader stated while voicing her opposition to the tax cuts signed into law by President Trump. “Most people are not in deadening poverty, but some are. Most people have to struggle to make ends meet.”

“How much are you worth, Nancy?” a woman yelled over Pelosi’s screed.

Another terrible school shooting took place in Parkland, Florida last week and unfortunately many politicians and pundits have used the tragedy – as they often do – to push their own agenda. Many will use the tragedy to argue that Americans should be prohibited from owning guns. As if anti-gun laws would dissuade a disturbed or violent individual intent on causing harm. Those intent on mass murder don’t obey gun laws.
