Paul looks to rein in government programs

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is looking to curb the size of the federal government by targeting redundant or wasteful programs.

Paul, a Republican presidential candidate, on Wednesday introduced two pieces of legislation that he says could help scale back spending.

One bill — backed by Republican Sens. Mike Enzi (Wyo.) and Jeff Sessions (Ala.) — would limit authorizations to four years, though lawmakers could request a longer authorization for a specific program.

Did Ron Paul Really Say Donald Trump Will Win GOP Presidential Nod?

Freeman15 Thu, 01/21/2016 - 07:47

Not really, but the folks at Breitbart and Independent Journal are hyping it that way.

That account is based on the Breitbart clip headlined "Ron Paul: Realistically, Trump Will Be Nominee."

Er, not exactly

Being a Contrarian like being a Libertarian one has to recognize that going with the herd doesn't work. It is the opposite. Always go with opposite of what others are doing. I have questioned my gut a few times in my life when opportunities showed up and I did not jump in or just went along. I live to regret it. Now, that I'm 60 I truly feel old enough to say. YEP, let's dive. Even when those around me say the opposite.

Open letter to the RNC

The destruction of the Republican party will include the Democratic party as well.  I'm all for this because I despise the two party system in this country.  But if the Republican party were smart they would nominate Rand Paul.  Trump is a plant to secure a Democratic Presidency.  The RNC could salvage what they have left and save their party with a Rand Paul nomination.

surely you are for open-gates, rather the ridding of fences that emulate a property-owners privacy. I would like to see a poll that addresses this. If you are for little or no border security for whimsicalities of multiculturalism-fantastique and 'love' for all, then surely you are for tearing down the fences that line your property and welcoming a detriment and destruction to your own rightful privacies.

Five days ago I made reference to the 'magnanimous ring' of the media. I was actually implying a correlation between the One Ring in The Lord of The Rings and the One Ring they are trying to give to Trump as ring-wraiths so beholden - http://occupyeducated.org/2012/05/16/six-media-companies-control-90-of-w... - in the land of fibbery.

Trump Wants To "Beat China" By Taxing Americans?

VR Wed, 01/20/2016 - 22:45

"It's very easy to look at foreign trade on a superficial level. Those big American corporations go to China to exploit cheap labor, thus destroying "our jobs". That's about as far as most people are willing to contemplate the situation. Sadly that's a very naive perspective to hold. "

Shillary is Banking on Trump winning the Nomination

On Jimmy Fallon last Thursday Clinton said,

“If I’m so fortunate to be the Democratic nominee — obviously I’ll run against whoever they nominate — but if it’s Donald Trump, it’ll be quite the [defeat], quite the showdown.”

Note: I personally add the word "defeat" because that is exactly what was going through her mind when she corrected herself.

They have been in cahoots for years...

Here is the article from last August about the the multiple calls Trump made to Bill just after Hitlery jumped in and just before Doodle throw his hat into the ring. (Remember: this is the first time he has run for ANYTHING)

bank-chart

If you were wondering how banks got “too big to fail,” here’s a good place to start. This chart shows us how, over the last couple of decades, 37 banks have became just 4 mega-banks. These same 4 mega-banks have, thus far, been immune to the consequences of any and all of their terrible decisions that places the entire world economy in jeopardy.

Trump has said many things about Christianity that are way worse than “Two Corinthians”

VR Wed, 01/20/2016 - 15:10

Jerry Falwell Jr., who hosted Trump at Liberty, says the candidate’s life has born good fruitThe evidence suggests otherwise.

On that point, here’s an incomplete list of things Trump has said about Christianity that are way worse than “Two Corinthians.”
