Minnesota officer charged with manslaughter in Castile death

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — A Minnesota police officer has been charged with second-degree manslaughter in the killing of Philando Castile, a black man whose girlfriend streamed the gruesome aftermath of the fatal shooting live on Facebook, prosecutors announced Wednesday.

David Wilcox was just minding his business the other day when he got rear-ended on a Chicago street.

When he got out of his car to exchange insurance information - a mob of teenagers pounced. He was dragged from his car and pummeled as a crowd of onlookers watched.

“Somebody yelled, ‘That’s one of those white boy Trump supporters,’” Mr. Wilcox told CBS Chicago. “I said, what does that have to do with this? We’re talking about insurance here.”

It's just a week after Election Day, but Donald Trump is already having the press eat his dirt.

The president-elect ditched the media Tuesday night to have a steak dinner with his family at New York's famed 21 Club.

According to the Associated Press, once reporters found out where Trump was headed, they were not allowed inside the restaurant.
