White House senior adviser Stephen Miller rebranded the “mainstream media” as the “extreme media” Tuesday night in his first interview since his smackdown of CNN’s Jim Acosta.

Laura Ingraham, filling in as a host for Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” asked Miller why news networks spent a large chunk of their airtime Tuesday touting a poll that says Trump has a rather low approval rating.

El Salvadoran newspaper La Prensa warned illegal immigrants in an article Tuesday not to go to the 18 states where police agencies are able to enforce immigration law.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has expanded the use of the 287(g) program under President Trump. The 60 agencies in 18 states that participate in the program assist in the arrest and removal of illegal immigrants.

Dr. John Michael Lonergam, MD, known affectionately as “Dr. Mike” to his patients and followers, was found dead yesterday of an apparent heart attack. He was 44 and “fighting fit” according to friends and family.

Trump administration sides with Ohio on purging voter rolls

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — President Donald Trump’s administration has reversed the government’s position on a voter roll case before the U.S. Supreme Court and is now backing Ohio’s method for purging voters.

Ohio’s system for removing inactive voters from the rolls does not violate the National Voter Registration Act, the Justice Department said Monday.

Democratic Congressman Luis Correa has hung a painting on his office wall depicting the Statue of Liberty dressed in a hijab.

Deputies say a suspect who allegedly stabbed three people in Seminole, Florida, stopped when a fourth individual pulled a gun on him.
The incident occurred Sunday afternoon in broad daylight.

According to The Patch, the incident began when witnesses alleged they saw 49-year-old Bobby Martin Watson trying to rob a woman in a Publix parking lot. Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office deputies indicate that the woman–44-year-old Rosanna Lynn–struggled with Watson and he stabbed her.

U.S. Job Openings Soar to Record Highs as Demand for Labor Increases

United States job openings soared to record highs in June as the demand for labor continues to increase, according to the latest second-quarter data on employment that the Department of Labor released Tuesday.

The Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) noted that the number of job openings in the U.S. increased from 5.7 million in May to 6.2 million at the end of June, an increase of 461,000 job openings.
