Standing military

Just wondering on this site, if any one thinks that we should support a standing full time military? Because if we should as a nation I think that we're going to always be in the state that were in. So many people depend on the military industrial complex that most wouldn't oppose it because of loss of work,benefits.To me draining the swamp would be to root out the blood thirty Generals, CIA operatives.

Conservative media icon Matt Drudge blasted the Republican Party on Twitter following another failure to repeal Obamacare, saying it’s clear there’s no difference between them and the Democrat Party.

Drudge pointed out the GOP’s proposed plan raises taxes on top earners under the guise of a “surcharge.”

“First Obamacare, now raise taxes on top earners?” Drudge tweeted on Wednesday.
“At least illusion there is difference between parties is finished once and for all!”

St. Louis police are facing a second lawsuit after a documentary team filed litigation Tuesday claiming police physically assaulted and arrested the filmmakers on false charges Sept. 17.

Drew and Jennifer Burbridge — married documentary filmmakers — were in St. Louis to document last week’s protests. The couple instead found themselves caught up in a “kettling” operation by St. Louis police on the night of Sept. 17, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
