Department of Defense (DOD) officials announced Friday that the agency would undergo the first full-scale audit in its history.
Defense Department Comptroller David Norquist said at a press conference that the audit would begin this month.

President Donald Trump used his weekly address Saturday to highlight his desire to get rid of sanctuary cities.

“‘Help me, Dad.’ Those were the last words spoken by Kate Steinle as she lay dying on a San Francisco pier – a precious young American woman killed in the prime of her life,” Trump said as he continued to highlight the 2015 death of Steinle at the hands of an illegal immigrant.

CNN had a rough Friday.

First, the network had to correct egregious, humiliating fake news in a report about Trump-Russia collusion.

Now, it seems CNN cannot get the identities right of White House staff. In a segment featuring a quote from current Trump deputy director of communications Raj Shah, CNN used in the image of another Raj Shah, who served in the Obama White House.

An 84-year-old Korean War veteran killed a home intruder Friday with a single shot right to the chest, and he’s crediting God with his success.

Two robbers tried to break into Korean War veteran Don Lutz’s home early on Friday morning in Lawrence County, Penn., but were quickly dissuaded by some serious firepower.

“Two guys tried to rob me, and I killed one of them,” Don Lutz said, according to WTAE-TV. “Maybe the other one, the bullet hit him, too. I hope so.”

Army and Navy met again Saturday afternoon on a snowy field in Philadelphia to play a football game that has been played for over 100 years.

The Army-Navy football game is one of the most storied sports traditions in the country.

This year marks the 118th time the two teams have met. The teams meet in a neutral city between their respective academies. They often play in NFL stadiums due to the enormous number of active duty and veteran fans who wish to attend.
