It is a laudable aim. It has, in fact, been the aim of rulers, statesmen, economists, reformers, religious leaders — of every man of goodwill — from time immemorial. It is an aim shared by all free-enterprise economists since the time of Adam Smith and by all socialists and Communists since the time of Karl Marx. The problem does not concern the end but the means. What is the best way to abolish poverty?

I Miss Ben Swann. Dont know where he went. I do know that he was at CBS 46 Atlanta until this video of Reality Check the last Reality Check he did, after it aired and went viral, Ben Disappeared. His Truth in Media Website went dark , his Facebook and twitter accounts have been wiped off the face of the Earth and he has not been on channel 46 in Atlanta for quite some time but he is still listed as part of the team.... Anyone know whats going on?

On Wednesday White House press secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted a photo of herself participating in some holiday target shooting.

The photo, posted on Wednesday, showed Sanders holding a shotgun and taking part in a trap shoot, with the caption, “Back home where we learned how to do more than just bake pecan pies”:

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R) sent a letter to Arkansas State Police (ASP) directing them to recognize that the open carry of handguns is “protected and allowed.”
He addressed his letter to ASP director Col. Bill Bryant and said Act 746 of 2013 allows a “person to open carry a handgun so long as there is no intent to unlawfully employ the handgun.”

Hutchinson added:

Gun Owners of America (GOA) is decrying the latest push from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) for bump stock gun control, contending that part of the solution is to defund the ATF altogether.

Many low-wage employers are importing cheap foreign labor by offering them immigration and citizenship instead of pay, so helping boost profits by sidelining blue-collar Americans.

The companies can sideline Americans and hire lower-wage foreigners because of the federal citizenship-instead-of-pay EB-3 green card immigration program.

TEL AVIV — A significant portion of the projected costs for President Donald Trump’s proposed border barrier with Mexico could be covered with the money saved if the U.S. stopped funding the scandalous U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which ministers to so-called Palestinian refugees.
