Google Not a friend. Security nightmares. Ghostery is my friend. Lawmakers have no idea about technology.

Google ex hired by the Pentagoon. Maybe we must disconnect. I think the best way is to have a room where all internet connected tools stay out of our homes. Parked like cars outside of common areas. Phones, tablets and such -- ENTRANCE NOT ALLOWED. With cars? I have no idea what someone would have to do unless resign yourself to drive an older model. Chevy 55 looks good to me. How I wish Dad didn't sell his. How romantic.

Hillary's Childhood Confirmed My Suspicion...

Libera_me Thu, 03/03/2016 - 19:50

I was making a run to the neighborhood thrift store and Walmart Neighborhood market, when the Palm Beach Post caught my eye with an article about Hillary's childhood. The person at the display table offered a copy free, and I accepted.(This was primarily because of the article on the Supreme Court and medical office standards for abortion clinics.) That article was fascinating in it self, but the article on Hillary's childhood caused me to take two steps backward.

Hilllary's Childhood Confirmed My Suspicion... Hurt People Hurt Others

Libera_me Thu, 03/03/2016 - 19:50

The relationship between Hillary and her father became better as she grew, but I suspect there is quite a bit hold over in relation to how she deals with those who disagree with her. This and some comments about those who disagree with her should confirm that 'hurt people hurt others'. for more:

Congress appalled by fed's hundreds of missing guns

JD Thu, 03/03/2016 - 16:48

The federal government received a bipartisan bashing Wednesday for losing track of hundreds of guns and grenade launchers that were donated to police departments.

The General Services Administration (GSA) has transferred more than 9,800 firearms to state and local police departments since 1999. But many of these weapons have later turned up for sale at gun stores or been stolen, according to a government watchdog

The Secret Service's 2010 Guide for Spotting Concealed Weapons

JD Thu, 03/03/2016 - 16:40

The U.S. Secret Service released a report in 2010 titled "Characteristics of the Armed Individual." The report is a combination of amusing tidbits and useful information-some tips are both-to help law enforcement personnel determine if a person is carrying a concealed weapon. "Macho feeling" is one of the listed "Body Movements" to look out for, for example.

Journalist who returned from Islamic State HQ tells RT how jihadists can be defeated

Isabella sj Thu, 03/03/2016 - 06:19

It's a game for power and money for who? Not for u or I. I think.

There's been a lot of talk about this journalist. I'm not educated enough to know for sure who he works for and why. How did he get in? My quesitons is: Where are the rest of the journalists who used to report from the trenches.  In Ukraine, if a journalist was foud and bomb would fall on them. Even from RT. No NBC, CBS, CNN or Fox journalists participate. WHY?

Education: Processing fees by Paypal and Indiegogo

Isabella sj Thu, 03/03/2016 - 05:20

"Indiegogo and Paypal took out about $20,000 in processing and banking fees"

Remember the story of a man who fled Sirya and was selling pens on the street holding his daughter. He hasn't been able to withdrawal all his money because of lack of access to the funds and because he is unable to open a bank account. But the ones that made it big are Paypal and Indiegogo. Now, that's exactly how justice and banking for all happens.

Oregon Standoff Update: Bundy's million-dollar herd of ornery cattle giving feds a meaty problem

Isabella sj Wed, 03/02/2016 - 16:17

Please read this entire post as it paints a picture of the Bundy ranchers that may color the way we see the situation.

Please take notice on how the "eco" groups are used to describe the situation. Very important part of the report.
Opinion news are interesting.

I am trying very hard not to provide links for personal reasons but I'll make an exception here.

Bacon the new No No

Isabella sj Wed, 03/02/2016 - 07:46

Wolfe left a slab of bacon at the mosque. Vandalism and bacon can land you in jail for life. Do you have a phone? U can use it.
