have reserves would spend it on their own debts/infrastructure if they don't need it to buy oil.  There are probably lots of good uses they could put it to.  Couldn't they convert it to their own currency and use it that way, or would they benefit more by spending it here?

here Ron is a modern Founding Father, the Thomas Jefferson of our day, and as such, I hope the site continues to bear his name.  The Daily Paul had a history, and I hope we can carry that on.

enough, and I thought he was done with politics and politicians altogether.

Republican convention in Minnesota.  He was a RP delegate and he was so disillusioned with the corruption and cheating; after that that was when I first noticed a big change.  He hung in for the 2012 campaign but after that he started talking about leaving and ending the Daily Paul.  We may not ever know exactly what happened to cause such a distancing and bitterness from the movement he had been such an integral and important part of, but I'm glad we can now operate as freely as before.

I thought I was the only one. And i find out there are at least two more :)
