I recently read his book from about 15 years ago called Death of the West...never really liked the guy but I have to admit...he's got some interesting ideas and perspective of the world. A lot of what he said 15 years ago has come true

Colbert tells Rand that he's a fan of Ron and I think Colbert treated Rand well during the interview.  

He moved the conversation in a direction where people ignorant of Rand's views came away with some knowledge of important issues such as the sheer ignorance of Trump for not knowing about the Nuclear Triad and Christie/ Hillary wanting to shoot down Russian planes in no fly zones.  Also, Colbert asked Rand to explain the difference between Libertarian, Republican and Dem philosophies, saying that Libertarians just want the government to leave us alone.  That got a great response from the audience.

At the end of the interview, Colbert managed to convey Rand's view on pot, too.

To watch President Putin go to church and to search when Obama hasn't really tells the story as to why this country of ours is where it is. President Putin attended at another location the church where his parents were baptized. I bring this up to compare what the speaker on the video referenced in this post speaks "we are conscious of our roots, conscious of the Christian heritage". This awakening is happening all over the globe. This is why using DT with the reverse psychology theme seems to be working for the establishment.

People in this country appear to be slowly making up their mind. And yes, UNITE we must. By thought, the new internet (prayer/intention) and by our actions. It's an idea whose time has come and cannot be stopped by any Army or any Government. And they know this. This is exactly why articles are deleted, you tube videos are deleted, fakebook accounts put on restriction, twitter banning, etc. Authority does not allow dissent.
