When we look back at 2016 we will remember it as a year when people started waking up. Countless 'conspiracy theories' have become mainstream facts.

David Gleeson and his partner Mary Mihelic assembled 52 cinder blocks near the edge of Jacumba Hot Springs, Calif., a border town about 70 miles southeast of San Diego.

Apparently, Gleeson and Mihelic also took to heart Trump's promise to make Mexico pay for the wall.

They sent an itemized bill for $14,635.42 to Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, because the wall was "made in the USA."

They said that they hope others will be inspired and add to the project.

MARKSVILLE — Two law enforcement officers accused of murder in the shooting of a 6-year-old boy last week were hit with million-dollar bail amounts, while an attorney for the child’s father said body camera video reportedly shows the man’s raised hands as the officers began firing at his SUV.

When Philando Castile saw the flashing lights in his rearview mirror the night he got shot, it wasn't unusual. He had been pulled over at least 52 times in recent years in and around the Twin Cities and given citations for minor offenses including speeding, driving without a muffler and not wearing a seat belt.

He was assessed at least $6,588 in fines and fees, although more than half of the total 86 violations were dismissed, court records show.

The Bahamian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration urged its citizens to exercise “appropriate caution” when traveling to the United States, and especially to cities where recent police shootings have occurred.

“Do not get involved in political or other demonstrations under any circumstances and avoid crowds,” the government warned.

A suspect accused of shooting a police officer in Ballwin, Missouri this morning has been taken into custody, according to the St. Louis County Police Department.

The Ballwin Police Department officer who was shot has been transported to a local hospital, where he is receiving life-saving treatment, St. Louis County PD wrote on Twitter.

Venable, a police officer in Nashville, commented on a Facebook post about Philando Castile Thursday afternoon. A woman was criticizing the officer who reportedly shot Castile four times after he informed the officer he was legally carrying a gun and reached for his ID in his pocket. Castile was pulled over for a broken taillight.
