Missouri State Sen. Censured, Urged to Resign Following Trump Assassination Post

Missouri State Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal (D-St. Louis) has been censured Wednesday after state lawmakers decided to formally reprimand her for a Facebook post she made calling for President Trump’s assassination.

The Daily Mail reports that the Republican-led Missouri Senate voted 28-2 to formally censure the lawmaker and also called for Nadal to resign.

It is the first time in Missouri history that a state lawmaker has been censured.

Gab, the free speech social network, has filed a lawsuit against Google after they were suspended without warning from Google’s Play Store last month.

The social network, which boasts itself as a platform for everyone and recently raised over $1 million in public investment, was suddenly suspended and removed from Google Play for “hate speech,” despite the fact that it had been available on the platform for several months.

Data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has found that a parasite found in 11% of the American population has been linked to alzheimer’s, epilepsy, and cancer.

One third of the world’s population is infected with the parasite Toxoplasma gondii. Researchers say that the toxic parasite affects 11% of the U.S. population aged 6 years and over.
