The White House plans to cap refugee admissions at 45,000 for Fiscal Year 2018, the administration told lawmakers Wednesday, confirming speculation that President Donald Trump would sharply reduce the number of refugees allowed to resettle in the U.S. next year.

The proposed ceiling is the lowest since the passage of the 1980 Refugee Act, which gives presidents wide latitude to determine how many refugees are settled in the U.S. each year.

“How can people get away with saying that low-wage immigration is an economic benefit to the united states? Are they lying or misguided?” Carlson asked Mark Krikorian of the Center for Immigration Studies and Dan Stein of the Federation for American Immigration Reform.

The Trump Inaugural Committee plans to donate $3 million in surplus funds to victims of the latest hurricanes, The New York Times reports.

Trump’s inauguration committee, which raised a record $106 million from private donors for the 2017 inauguration of President Donald Trump, will donate funds left over to several charitable groups, the chairman of the committee said.

Just wondering on this site, if any one thinks that we should support a standing full time military? Because if we should as a nation I think that we're going to always be in the state that were in. So many people depend on the military industrial complex that most wouldn't oppose it because of loss of work,benefits.To me draining the swamp would be to root out the blood thirty Generals, CIA operatives.
