Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign responded to former Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair Donna Brazile’s criticisms of the Clinton campaign, including the charge the campaign essentially rigged the 2016 primaries.

Kentucky State Police have arrested a man accused of assaulting Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) at his home in Bowling Green, the senator's office confirmed on Saturday.

"Senator Paul was blindsided and the victim of an assault," Kelsey Cooper, a spokeswoman for Paul, said in a statement. "The assailant was arrested and it is now a matter for the police. Senator Paul is fine.”

According to the Chicago Tribune, the suspect, 19-year-old Terrion Pouncy, was “wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt” and he had a “dark scarf concealing his face.” Police report that he pulled a small handgun and demanded money from two men working the register. One of the two handed him the money and Pouncy allegedly responded by reaching into the man’s pocket and taking his personal cell phone and wallet as well.

President Donald Trump slammed news outlets Thursday for failing to mention the revelations that Hillary Clinton paid off the Democratic National Committee.

“The rigged Dem Primary, one of the biggest political stories in years, got ZERO coverage on Fake News Network TV last night. Disgraceful!,” Trump tweeted Friday.

A study released by Media Center Thursday found that ABC, CBS, and NBC declined to even mention the story during their evening broadcasts.

Three Republican congressmen introduced a resolution Friday calling for special counsel Robert Mueller to recuse himself from the probe into Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Republican Reps. Matt Gaetz of Florida, Andy Biggs of Arizona, and Louie Gohmert of Texas believe Mueller should step down due to the fact that he was the FBI director in 2010 when U.S. government agencies approved the sale of Uranium One, according to Business Insider.

The settlement, announced in a Department of Justice press release dated Dec. 11, 2012, involved a deferred prosecution agreement in which HSBC admitted criminal responsibility for money-laundering at least $881 million through the U.S. financial system, as well as an unspecified amount of money from federally sanctioned countries including Iran, Cuba, Sudan, Libya, and Burma.
