Republican lawmakers in Michigan are pushing concealed carry in church as their response to the heinous November 5 attack in Texas.
They are also seeking to legalize concealed carry in K-12 schools and other public areas that are currently designated gun-free.

Republican Sen Lindsey Graham conceded Thursday that the GOP will lose the financial support of its donors should Congress fail to pass a comprehensive tax reform bill, according to The New York Times’ Alan Rappeport.

Graham’s admission is in keeping with statements made by a number of Republican lawmakers, including Rep. Chris Collins of New York, who told reporters Tuesday that “My donors are basically saying, ‘Get it done or don’t ever call me again.'”

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul has been told to expect federal charges against his socialist neighbor who attacked the Republican senator last week, Fox News’ Shepard Smith reported on Thursday.

That prosecutors are expected to bring federal charges in the attack indicates that they may believe it was politically motivated, Smith reported. Previous media reports that the attack was over a long-standing dispute are inaccurate, Paul’s office has said.
