Police in Phoenix, Arizona, say an armed resident shot and killed a suspected burglar after he forced his way into her home Tuesday.

The victim, identified only as a female, was witnessed being grabbed by the 34-year-old suspect as she attempted to enter her home.

The armed man later fled the home after being shot by the resident and died in a local hospital.

Reports are beginning to surface that a Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) landed at Langley on Saturday.

A Marine expeditionary unit (MEU, pronounced “Mew”), is the smallest Marine air-ground task force (MAGTF) in the United States Fleet Marine Force. Each MEU is an expeditionary quick reaction force, deployed and ready for immediate response to any crisis, whether it be natural disaster or combat missions.

The Trump administration will move to strip U.S. citizenship from several naturalized immigrants who allegedly lied about their histories of sexual abuse during the naturalization process, the Department of Justice announced Tuesday.

An editorial in Democrat Rep. John Conyers’ hometown paper urged the congressman to step down from his position in light of accusations that he used taxpayer money to pay off a sexual harassment accuser.

The Detroit-Free Press editorial argued that while Conyers is a “hero of the civil rights,” he needs to resign due to reports of his alleged firing of a woman who rebuffed his sexual advances.
