The Senate passed the GOP’s $1.5 trillion tax cut early Wednesday morning, leaving just one technical hurdle and President Trump’s signature as the final steps before the president’s top legislative priority becomes reality.

There was little last-minute drama in the Senate, where the final tally was 51-48, hardly different from the original version that cleared the Senate earlier this month.

Former FBI Assistant Director James Kallstrom told Fox Business that patriots within the FBI are about to go public with huge new revelations that could sink the credibility of the ‘Russian collusion’ investigation.

Kallstrom said that a “5th estate” has been working to sabotage President Trump, lead by “a bunch of sycophants in the FBI” who are guilty of “obstruction of justice”.

The Committee on House Administration has released data from the Office of Compliance (OOC) showing it paid $342,225.85 in taxpayer funds on settlements and awards for sexual harassment and discrimination charges leveled against House members between fiscal year 2008 and fiscal year 2012.

Update: The tax cut bill has hit a procedural snag that will require changes to the legislation. As a result, the House will have to vote to approve the bill again.

The Senate parliamentarian ruled on Tuesday after that three provisions included in the bill passed by the House did not comply with Senate budget rules. Republican lawmakers will strip the provisions from the bill prior to the Senate’s vote Tuesday night. The House would then have to take up the measure once again.

Twelve Republican House members voted against their party’s bill to reform the tax code Tuesday.

The House passed The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act 227-203 Tuesday. 12 Republicans and all Democrats voted against the bill. Two members did not vote.

The bill lowers the income tax rates for individuals and small businesses, permanently lowers the corporate tax rate, and includes a number of other features Republicans can get behind, like repealing Obamacare’s individual mandate.
