Banned From RonPaulForums.com

Sola_Fide Sun, 01/24/2016 - 15:16

Hello all,

I was banned from RonPaulforums.com for suggesting that the moderation was being too accepting of racist white nationalists and other assorted Trump Pumpers.

White nationalism and protectionism are anti-liberty, but I guess they didn't want to hear that, which is sad.

Anyway, hello.

Dec 1, 1787 "On Saturday, Mr. Findley delivered an eloquent and powerful speech to prove that the proposed plan of government amounted to a consolidation and not a confederation of the states. Mr. Wilson had before admitted that if this was a just objection it would be strongly against the system; and, it seems, from the subsequent silence of all its advocates upon that subject (except for Dr Rush, who on Monday insinuated that he saw and rejoiced at the eventual annihilation of the state sovereignties) Mr. Findley has established his position."

Also during the Penn Convention:

Nov 30, 1787, Benjamin Rush spoke out against a Bill of Rights

This is from the book, Debate on the Constitution, Part I

As for Hamilton, I found his writing dry and therefore difficult to get through and his arguments weren't compelling to me (granted, I didn't read every word and rather scanned through his papers), plus, knowing that afterwards he'd sell out America to the banksters.... I also had read a bio on Madison and that really brought him down in my eyes; his plan was initially for a national government but he was told immediately that no one would agree to that so he backed off. He also wanted to give Congress the power to veto state laws. I feel stronger 'kinship' with Mason and Henry and really wish Patrick went to the CC b/c I believe the Constitution would have been a much tighter and better doc had he been there.

Laugh. It makes you feel good.

HVACTech,

As someone who posts over at RPF's frequently, can you confirm the white nationalist sentiment over there?

.

HVACTech's picture

if yes, then yes, if no. then no.  support for Trump does not bother me.  it is simply more ignorance on display. ignorance is not the same as stupid friend. as there is no indication of evil intent. just ignorance and media manipulation.

RPF's is a fine place. and it has always been a journey, :)

{A quick note before my rambling begins. I do not believe that most individuals truly want to have the responsibility of true liberty thrust upon them. Actually being responsible for your life and your families life is no small task. The liberty that I am searching for might not be the same as everyone else's.}

I have ZERO control over who is offended. That is for the individual to decide. To assume that someone deserves a consequence for simply speaking their belief, (with no physical violence or direct threats involved) is on serious shaky ground. I am not mistaken on this point (in my mind of course.) I make a joke involving an individual of Asian descent (and believe me, it would be very funny) I am simply making a joke, and not trying to deliberately offend anyone. I can assure you that plenty of Asians and non-asains will be offended. I can also assure you that many Asians and non-asians will not. Many might even find it a funny joke to tell to others in the future. Point is, what consequence are you implying should be doled out for simply speaking without threatening anyone ? As far as I am concerned, As long as I am not physically hurting another individual or their property or making a direct verbal threat to someone, then I have every right to do and say as I please. Now, if someone thinks that they can put their hands on me because I am being non violent and expressing my beliefs, well, they are in the wrong and I will defend myself with as much force necessary to repel their assault, and I will maintain the moral high ground while put a bullet in their head !

Simply being a Christian or Muslim, for instance, is highly offensive to many people. Does the Muslim or Christian deserve a "CONSEQUENCE" for simply being themselves in a non violent and non threatening manner ? I am also dying to know, does the one offended get to dole out that good old fashioned "CONSEQUENCE" or should we set up a government to pick and choose which non violent/threat is offensive and then set up some mandatory "CONSEQUENCE" schedule.

Awww shucks. It really does not matter. We are all slaves and not much will change that. But it sure is fun to share all of these different ideas and thoughts though ! Youse guys have given Mother Circe much to ponder.

That's fine.  Although I am a firmly convinced voluntarist, I have been politically active in Rand and Massie's campaigns, and I think it is not wrong to work with members of government that will move the needle back to a more liberty-oriented atmosphere.

I have voted as well.  I voted for Harry Browne, Ron Paul, Rand Paul, and Thomas Massie.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't believe that I claimed that it wasn't.

Sorry but racism is a personal problem not one conducive to a free society.  We learn that a free society cannot exist without a virtuous people.  If people can't control their racist urges then there is no society as their is no civility.

As for the idea that there are no racist Mexicans.  I'm sorry again, are these people super human?  True all people have racist tendencies or at best prejudice toward other races.  The idea that there isn't internal racism as well such as darker people of a population treated as inferior to the lighter skinned people is false.  Black people can be racist toward other darker black people or even people of lighter skin.

I often discriminate against bad ideas as well.

And yes, there are racist Mexicans. I don't believe racism is a bigger issue in the US than Mexico because the US is more racially diverse than Mexico, I believe racism is a bigger issue here because is is a tool useful to our corrupt political system, its politicians, and their lackeys. Both Barack Obama and Donald Trump are prime examples of this.

Also, when you wake up in the morning you really don't think what color is your skin or what country were you born. Your brain forgets constantly that you have nails, hair and a butt. When formulating answers to complex situations race has nothing to do with it.

I have to be reminded constantly as I forget were I was born, what color is my skin and how short I am when I'm pumping gas in my tank.

I agree that there is an element of race baiting that keeps the sheep preoccupied while the goons continue their control. Also, the people who flip out about race, both for and against racism, are usually the most overtly racial people.

I'm also not saying that it is not natural to be comfortable around your own culture or race.  Of course it is.

But from a mindset of liberty, a freedom oriented view of the world is non-collectivist.  It doesn't define people racially...it promotes individualism.  Also, as a Christian, I can't go along with racial mindsets because the Bible says God saves men "from every tribe, tongue, and nation".

What Trump has done is to awaken a white nationalistic sentiment in this country.  One that also rejects the free market.  The Trump phenomenon is antithetical to liberty.

too much but. DT is the epitome of what's wrong. A country's demeanor is a trickle down thingy. Racial, economic, education and religion are ingredients used to keep us divided. Let's not give them that opportunity.

Hopefully you can feel at home here.

Trump has managed to take the "pissed-off" vote by scapegoating, and running with that, without really offering any real solutions. Many people haven't been able to see the division he's managed to create and fuel. It's a perfect example of Divide and Conquer at its best.

I STILL STAND WITH RAND!

By the way, I have been a regular contributor there since 2010, I've volunteered on Rand and Massie's campaigns, and I have (tried) to develop a consistent Christian voluntarism for several years.

The liberty movement is going through yet another growing pain.  Don't take it personally.

Hijack season is right. Trump on the right and Bernie on the left. I personally believe that the number of people we once thought were "awake" to leviathan was much smaller than everyone said.

Libertarianism is a philosophy that takes intellectual effort and rigorous reasoning to develop sometimes. The vast majority are just not there.
