Texas Attorney Files Lawsuit Challenging Sen. Ted Cruz’s Presidential Eligibility

81-year-old Houston-based attorney Newton Boris Schwartz Sr. filed a federal class action lawsuit on Thursday challenging the presidential eligibility of U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas).

Sen. Cruz was born in Calgary, Canada in 1970 to an American mother and a Cuban father, who became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2005.

The lawsuit claims that Cruz is “ineligible to be elected, or serve as president or vice president of the U.S.” due to the fact that he was born in Canada.

Admitting that he can “see both sides of this argument,” Schwartz said, “If he gets cleared, he gets cleared. Let’s just get this thing settled before the primaries and the convention and the election.”

I don't want SCOTUS determination anything when it comes to Constitutionality.

SCOTUS has no Constitutional right to define anything. SCOTUS is a rogue organization that usurped a power - judicial review - when in fact it is supposed to be the People who determine the meaning of the Constitution through investigating original intent. Also, it debases the Supreme Court when we turn it into reviewers for Webster's Dictionary.

We know the intent of the NBC clause is to prevent foreign influence from reaching the Executive Branch - well, good luck with that because we know all POTUS' are puppets of TPTB.

Of course, that doesn't mean we shouldn't ensure the Executive is a NBC.

But going to the Supremes who sing songs mangling original intent.... oh, what's the point.

If SCOTUS rules on NBC they'll have to create a definition that makes BO eligible - and we know he was never eligible. SCOTUS will never look to Vattel's work - they've been dismissing it for at least a century.

I want Ben Swan to do a program on what the founders knew the clause to mean and how 70 plus years after the ratification of the Constitution, Congress still knew the meaning of NBC. I want Swan to show an image of the Congressional Globe where Bingham states:

“I find no fault with the introductory clause, which is simply declaratory of what is written in the Constitution, that every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural-born citizen.”

Let Swan show the world that we the People know the original intent of the NBC clause and that Congress knew the meaning of the NBC clause but now they don't because presidents are pre-chosen in secret meeting by nefarious cabals.

Cruz & Rubio are puppets trying to take over the Executive Office for its power. Neither care about the Law. Neither have the States United best interest at heart. They are thieves, usurpers, men of the lowest character. When the People give away their power to untrustworthy politicos, that country is doomed. So be it.

I agree, let's get this

I agree, let's get this settled. I would truly like the issue to go away in the future. So we can just look at where a person is born and to whom they were born of.

I do not feel that Cruz is a Natural Born Citizen. He was not born on any part of US soil, territorial, militarily (on a US base), diplomatically, or any other connection to the USA. His parents both took up residency in Canada. They were not there on a trip or a short visit.

I ask for answers on both of these questions. (1). If Cruz is a Natural Born Citizen. Which of the 50 states would he be Natural Born to? (2). Can a war baby from Vietnam become president of the United States?
