Haven't been here for quite a while.

I miss this old gang of intellectual prowess.

It seems that we have, indeed, been divided and conquered.

But I do not digress

I do wish ppl would comment more.I normally like to read from the sidelines, but I guess I need to open up a bit more with commenting. It is harder to find Ron Paulites like ourselves, and I hope to see intellectual interactions again. By the way I still come to this site everyday like the dailypaul.

Trey Gowdy and a few others appear to be liberty mined. Trump seems to be working the right direction,I don't agree with some of the things that he does, but back to the old saying choosing the lesser of Two evils. Trup looks like a Saint when compared to Hilary. It's a long way to reducing the Federal governments back to the areas covered by Article one, section eight of the Constitution. The swamp needs some serious draining. With all the anti liberty people both from the Rs and Ds, Trump will have a hard time reducing the size of government. We need more candidates like Omar Navarro, who is running against Maxine Waters in CA. We need more liberty candidates running at all levels of government as well as supporters who do more than sit behind a keyboard. I would like to see liberty groups started in every county and city in the US, like we saw with RP support groups. I was a district and state candidate for RP, but the republicans were so corrupt dealing with Ron Paul, I know they had their own agenda, the GOP showed me they are for the GOP and not liberty.

haven't seen you in a while. Yeah, it's gone down hill and become the JD/Trump boosterism club. There is simply no forum left for talking about liberty. I hang around antiwar.com sometimes, as at least there are some pro-liberty voices there.

Libera_me and I have discussed having consistent libertarians join or rejoin the Libertarian Party in order to get it to nominate an actual libertarian in 2020. If you have been following the court cases regarding the bipartisan Commission on Presidential Debates, it looks like 2016 will be the last presidential election that they will be able to keep qualified independent and third party candidates out of the debates. It's kind of exciting. Remember that Jesse Ventura was polling at 5% or less when allowed into the Minnesota gubernatorial debates, and we know what happened there. Let me know if you're interested. I'd love to meet you at the convention.

I think not so much "divided and conquered". More like self defeated. Most seem to have given up. It's not that they no longer care but, it seems like they just don't choose to participate. Lack of energy from defeating themselves, I guess.
