I don't know how to vote.

I'm a die-hard Ron Paul supporter who is struggling with who to vote for in November.

My heart says Gary Johnson but NOT Bill Weld.

He was a poor choice for running mate and a war-monger.

And the more the establishment republicans support Hillary the more I'm inclined to vote for Trump.

But Pence was a TERRIBLE pick who is as ESTABLISHMENT GOP as they come and a WAR-MONGERING ARAB-HATER.

And furthermore, how can I support someone who supports torture and continued meddling in the middle east which Trump as said he will do???

So I have to ask myself; what would Ron Paul do???

Someone, help me PLEASE!!!

I am open to all ideas.

You would think after watching what the political class has done to this country, why the hell would America vote for anybody else except Trump..
We need another "career politician/lawyer" to fix things by staying away from the White House...
No more Bush! No More Clinton! No more Obama or his cronies.. Trump is the only one that can make this happen.. There is a New Awakening in America - the Founding Fathers had it. You have it. The Force is with you! Use it to get rid of the old corrupt regiments. Donald Jedi Knight Trump is waiting in the wings for your signal.
In order to win the war you have to choose your battle ground.

Maybe I struck a nerve or maybe lots of people feel my pain!

Thanks for all your ideas. I have lots of videos to see or articles to read yet from all of you.

I have to feel comfortable with my final derision because I do take this seriously.

I know one of the two corrupt major parties will win.

A vote for the Libertarians will be mainly to help support their future efforts to break up this rotted two-party choke hold on our political process.

Ultimately there should be NO POLITICAL PARTIES!!!

We don't need political parties because EVERY candidate for president should vow ONLY to support our Constitution and otherwise should be judged solely on their ability to do just that as president.

I agree with the Jdayh - very good presentation too.

I was a hardcore RP supporter during both the '08 & '12 campaigns. He was the only real choice for the liberty movement.

It's different this year. DT is the wild card, non-establishment choice, standing up to the soul-less globalists.

The embedded video is from Bill Still (great channel, incidentally) and features a pastor named Lance Wallnau. I enjoyed this video very much and it resonated (20 minutes).

It is worth noting that Ron Paul endorsed the Constitution Party's candidate in 2012. Darrell isn't perfect, but he seems to be a decent option - especially when compared to the alternatives.

Many things about their platform are excellent - especially how they break down every issue to test its Constitutionality.

But I think they get a little too religious or seem to be preaching at times.

I did vote for Chuck Baldwin in 2008.

Too bad they can't join forces with the Libertarians because they are splitting a lot of liberty people into two camps.

I feel your pain. I wanted to vote for Gary Johnston too, but the fact that someone, somewhere, thought William Weld would be a good addition to his campaign...well, that was that. I actually think Jill Stine is probably the most straight up honest but I simply cannot groove to some of her most firmly held beliefs. Clinton is by definition unworthy of my vote and Trump is a man-i-mal. I'm pretty sure this pairing was by design. I'm also pretty sure that the Republican and Democratic parties are working toward the same end. My state of Rhode Island is a complete lock for Hillary Clinton so it really doesn't matter if I vote at all. But seeing as I'm pretty much genetically incapable of not voting during an election, I will be writing in I DO NOT CONSENT for president (they count and document Write-in's in my state) and voting on all the local ballot issues and local offices. I'm totally fine with this because I have written in Ron Paul the past two presidential elections and it felt great! I'm excited to write in I DO NOT CONSENT. This whole election has been a train wreck. Seriously. How insulting. I DO NOT CONSENT.

All Political parties certify a "Poll Observer" to over see the process from beginning to end. Big jurisdiction that are located in "swing states" will have people on their side watch you vote (at a distance), observe how poll station workers verify you ID, follow the ballots to the location where they are counted and ultimately try to contest any ballot that is NOT filled in properly. As in your "I Do Not Consent" indication on your ballot for president could NULL your votes for local issues, hence, invalidating you experience waiting in line. Research your local laws and see if you can do that, otherwise...PLEASE DON'T.

Here in Washington State I was told in 2012 that they will not count write-ins unless they get so many for one candidate that such candidate would present a challenge to a leading candidate listed on the ballot.

So basically it's a wasted vote here.

I know that voting for any party listed on the ballot WILL be counted however so if all else fails I will vote Libertarian for the sake of advancing the Party - not necessarily for their present candidates.

And remember - one of the main things you are voting for when you support a party is their PLATFORM.

And I do agree with most of the Libertarian platform unlike the republican platform which is full of crap like supporting foreign interventions, entanglements and financially supporting Israel specifically.

I know in Indiana if a candidate is not on a list for a write-in (filed to be on it) they will just toss it out.

I am not even registered to vote this time. Was a delegate for Ron Paul last election, but got kicked off the list rather quickly, since I'm outspoken and didn't hide the fact that I support Ron Paul and Liberty.

Don't be so hard on yourself, follow your heart. You don't even need to vote at all. You can opt out, like I am. :-)

When no choice is possible, it is not your responsibility to make one. The person who will become President will be elected by those who vote for him/her. THEY bear the responsibility for the inevitable bad actions of THEIR candidate. Let there be no doubt, either of these two candidates is bad, and it matters little that one is an iota 'better' than the other, because on net the results will be bad no matter what. A sinking freighter is not saved by bailing with a coffee cup instead of a teaspoon.

Free yourself from the political trap of having to take sides in a no-win situation. Acknowledge that you cannot change the outcome of the upcoming election and concentrate on being a better person, a better libertarian, and a beacon for others. This election is not ours. But the future might be if we stay clear of the current disaster.

...NOT an Atheist. I'm a Christian (spe3cifically Roman Catholic though not devout).

That being said I don't judge Atheists or any other religious affiliation or non affiliation.

What I have written a lot about is that I'm against ALL U.S. foreign aid to EVERY country including first and foremost Israel.

My belief is that by having helped create and now to support a state - NOT based on freedom but rather based on its inhabitants happening to be of a certain ethnic heritage - we ignored our founders' advice to stay away from foreign entanglements which make Americans LESS safe and MORE hated around the world.

In fact, Israel's founding ideals are the very antitheses of what America was founded on.

Many will jump on me as being "Anti-Semetic" just because I want to quit sending American taxpayer dollars to Isreal (and all nations), but this is not the case.

I do not care who anyone worships or does not worship. Everyone on earth has the right to choose how to approach their God and salvation.

But since the U.S. helped create the state of Israel (which meant displacing nearly 7.5 million Palestinians in 1947-48) and continuea to financially support their crimes against Palestinians, it will likely haunt our nation indefinitely.

I have not heard Donald Trump ever say these things. In fact - just the opposite; He gave a speech to AIPAC a few months ago in which he sounded every bit the war-monger which the republican party so dearly loves.

This is just one of the things which bother me about Trump. Others include the continued failed war on drugs, his support of torture and his promise to "bomb the hell" out of ISIS in the middle east.

I have watched several of your videos and yes, Trump makes many good points and he has after all never been in elected office.

But I am still not convinced and I look forward to your next step - if indeed I'm reading it correctly that you actually are a Trump supporter now.

I will note these positives about Trump:

He (apparently) is not bought by special interests like the military-industrial- banking complex (unlike Hillary),

He has never held elected office,

He is questioning NATO and our defending foreign nations with nothing to show for it,

He bashed Bush and his administration RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM at one of the GOP debates (that got him a lot of points with me),

He bashes NAFTA and TPP among other bad deals,

He bashed John McCain who is not a war hero but a war CRIMINAL,

Several establishment RINOS like McCain, Lyndsey Graham, Fred Barnes, Michael Nedved, Bush, etc have said they will be supporting Hillary (to keep their establishment charade alive,

And he has bashed the GOP and RNC which is all very good because I want the GOP DESTROYED for what they did to Ron Paul.

But the negatives on Trump nearly number the positives which is why I'm on the fence.

so why no one will ever ever replace Ron Paul, his ideas have been picked up and quietly and subtly been wrapped into Donald Trupms campaign, however he does not focus on many of those points, knowing that the masses may not understand them, but knowing that the higher IQ people will !! (thus he intergects these ideas here and there) Ron Paul focused on these ideas , thus harboring much hate evil and wrath toward him. DT is way more subtle on much of the EXACT SAME ISSUES!
Now, knowing this (which I will prove/show) also know this HE IS NOT 100% the same on ever issue, but... he is SO FAR CLOSER THAN ANYONE ON THE GOP STAGE (save perhaps Rand), and HE CAN BE ELECTED!!!

so there are many other videos , however.... the point of this part is to give a Ron Paul's ideology perspective.

Lets look at the points that Donald and RP have in common:

-- Appoint CONSERVATIVE JUSTICES TO THE SUPREME COURT WHICH WILL IMPACT US FOR THE NEXT 20-40 YEARS!!
-- get rid of the Dept. of Education(and common core)
-- make Nato/allies pay up what they owe.
-- reduce out footprint oversees
-- no more nation building
-- legalize "medical marijuana" and leave it up to the states to decide on recreational pot
-- secure our borders! (DT is more adamant on this issue, with the idea of a wall)
-- AUDIT THE FED!!! (yes imagine that the most dear issue to RP and DT is for it!)
-- lowering PERSONAL taxes in a massive tax cut not seen of since Reagan(plus simplifying the tax code DRAMATICALLY)
-- lowering business taxes from 35%-15%!! thus bringing in hundreds of billions of dollars of overseas business $$ back to the USA
-- ENDING NAFTA. OR RENEGOTIATING IT !! YA!!!!
-- ENDING TTP PARTICIPATION..ie withdrawing from it.

--I m sure Im missing a few...

While RP is a more pure version of libertarianism, American is not educated enough to vote for a pure libertarian platform. However, Donald Trump seems to be able to sell the whole package better(by not focusing on the controversial points.)
I know he is not --perfect-- only RP was to most people who supported him. (and a few said he was not "good enough" on certain issues)

The other thing , is it seems DT is open to being educated , as he has evolved on some issues over the years. Thus ... Rand may have a way to show him or open him up to even more libertarian ideology. (you think hillary will be open?? hahahahaahahahah no. not ever. never. ever. )

Do you think Trump is a better choice than Gery Johnson and if so why.

Disregard any thought about whether Johnson can win or not.

Just wondering if you think the Libertarian candidate - on principle - is better than Trump.
