In this video Trump and Bernie Sanders comment on the arbitrary 15 percent polling requirement set by the Commission on Presidential Debates to allow candidates into the debates.

Please sign the petition to demand that the Commission on Presidential Debates let Libertarian Party presidential candidate Gary Johnson debate!

If someone is aware of a similar petition for Constitution Party presidential candidate Darrell Castle, please share it.

...then by God YOU SHOULD BE ALLOWED INTO THOSE DEBATES!!!

They can keep their 15% for any party or individual who is NOT on every ballot.

But if you ARE on every state ballot then you have made it.

This means that Gary Johnson IS ELIGIBLE to appear in the debates because the Libertarian Party WILL be on every state ballot this November.

Absolutely right.

I've said they should just make the requirement that you have to be on enough state ballots to win 270 electoral votes. That would still limit most candidates, while allowing anyone with a good chance of winning an opportunity to be heard.

even as the people see the Donald and Hillary show as a show they would rather miss. (both have high unfavorability ratings) The Constitution Party, in 2004, had achieved ballot access in 41 states..If the rules for ballot access were restored to what they were, I could agree. As it is, I respectfully disagree. This still would ( at least in the current election) leave many of us with no voice in the debates unless we can reconcile our voice with the least bad of three bad choices.

TO quote my second least favorite candidate:(I think I've made rather clear who is the least, if not here's a link explaining it https://twitter.com/PrisonPlanet?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw (link is external))
"What difference, at this point does it make?!"

There is no excuse for not including the third party candidates in the debates - especially when Clinton and Trump both have unfavorable ratings well over 50% in nearly every poll. The Republican debates in 2015 and 2016 had 8 to 11 participants at times, so logistically there is no reason why third party candidates are not included in the general election debates. Third party candidates should get equal media coverage as the Republican and Democratic parties, and the debates are no exception. In 2012 Al Jazeera and the RT broadcasted the third party debates but no major U.S. network did. In other words, foreign news channels covered the third party debates in 2012 better than the U.S. Commission on Presidential Debates! Enough is enough!

Agree, they should be in the debates, but Jill Stein even though I don't agree with her politics should also be in attendance.
