An Untold 'Olympic' Triumph -Runner Sarah Brown

Libera_me Sat, 08/20/2016 - 11:59

Olympic hopeful Sarah Brown has run a personal best in the 1500 meter race, 4:03.20, faster than any of the contenders at the Rio Olympics. This is an exceptional time, but something even more exceptional kept her away. Implanted with an IUD, she discovered she was pregnant. (This happens less than 1% of the time) After consulting her doctors, she and her husband chose to have the IUD removed right away. This gave the best chance for the pre-born baby to survive. You can see the beautiful little girl and her delighted mom here, along with links to Elle magazine and a report from Runner's World:

there are other stories I could have posted, but this one was Olympics related, so I thought it would be a nice current story. Will post another one when I find it.

Here is a song I would send her, in video form,( appropriate in more ways than one:)
