This is a great interview . Clips of JFK's speech are featured reminding us that war is not inevitable. Both leaders and Americans don't understand how dangerous the proxy war in Ukraine is against Russia which views the war as central to their national security. They do not understand that the conditions for war were laid long before Russia went into Ukraine, and the US needs to own its part in 2014 with the overthrow of Yanukovych (democratically elected in Ukraine). Sachs was a firsthand witness to that event. Gabbard explains how Dem leaders had a chance in March to support negotiations instead of escalating the war in Ukraine. Americans and our leaders don't understand that the MO of humiliating a nuclear power is "so stupid, so phony" in Sachs' words. something JFK understood and warned us not to do.
