Reps. Massie and Amash just stopped D.C.’s latest power grab

"Perhaps conservatives are conditioned to presume that the Republican Party will surrender on issues like gun control, higher spending, tax increases, NSA spying or a foreign policy predicated on nation building. Perhaps we’ve been let down so often that we are prepared to oppose anything our members do.
Yet, there are glimmers of hope; there are times when our best members stand firm — they offer us a beacon of hope in the fight against bad legislation. Today, we write with praise; particularly for two members who are leading the fight to protect American sovereignty and protect our rights outlined in the Bill of Rights.

Those two members are Congressmen Justin Amash, R-Mich. (A, 96%) and Thomas Massie, R-Ky. (A, 93%).
