Site is back!

The host updated the database without telling me and I couldn't figure out what was going on.  Scared me.  It's back and fully updated.  Seems like errors are gone too.  Let me know if you have any.

couple thoughts, let us know where we can find info on the site case it goes down etc, aka your twitter feed ,a fake book link etc. Also see how much it may be to download the whole site onto a disk/flash drive and offer it for sale say once a year  so people can be secure of the knowledge that is here over the years . (wish DP did that .. wow that was a ton of info)  I mean 10-20.00 or whatever , people would probably buy it .

If the site was shut down by The call to Paul admin? 

Might be a good idea to keep track of emails so CTP can email users when something like this happens'

And then theirs the governments rumors of a solar flare that may shut down the internet. False Flag?

I was so bummed, I was thinking that could be a possibility the site go down for whatever reason and seven years of research down the memory hole. Many of my friends and contacts follow this website. I even tried to pull things up on the way back machine but it didn't have much captured Thanks again!!

It made my day seeing this very important site back online.

Gardener, do do run the site?

If so many thanks to you from me and this entire community.

It might be a good idea for us who follow this site to exchange emails in case the worst eventually happens.

I would like to know where we might congregate in that case.

But for now it's a glorious day having back A CALL TO PAUL!!!

There's so much info here and I backed it all up.  The server I rent from didn't tell me about the update and all 3 of my sites went down.  My business site is hprinting.net and has email to contact me.  I was contacted the host company and they said:

"Hello,

Thank you for contacting DreamHost Support. My name is Carlos, I'll be
assisting you today.

Yes, our databases were upgraded from MySQL 5.7 to 8.0. This caused some
older CMS to stop working as they were not compatible.

Most of your sites appear to be running Drupal 7.69, according to their
documentation https://www.drupal.org/node/3185889 - you will need to
upgrade to 7.76, this can be done manually:
https://www.drupal.org/docs/updating-drupal/updating-drupal-core-manually

Once this has been completed the sites should be up."

I updated and it got rid of errors that used to pop up when you save a post which made me so happy.  I come on here every morning early to see what is new and share what I find.
