Poll results are not very convincing when the choices are given with biased descriptions. I suggest that the opinions be kept to the comments section.

Thank you.

Voting for any of the offered candidates is an obscenity.

I have heard the tired mantra "if you don't vote, you can't complain," but it makes no sense to me. If I vote for someone who starts wars, steals money, or violates the Bill of Rights, I am morally responsible for their actions. Since all of the offered candidates are likely to commit those crimes, I choose to withhold my approval. I have removed myself from the process. Any v*ter who is upset with the outcome needs to confront those who v*ted for a different candidate, not me. I will complain about them all, and I will blame all who v*te for the winner for the continued decline of our country.

My state allows write in v*tes, but they don't count them. I proved that when I wrote in Ron Paul the last time and my v*te did not register. If I howl in the wilderness and nobody hears me, ought I find something more productive to do with my energy?

..."allowed" into the Presidential Debates in November!!!

The DIRTY, ROTTED, CORRUPT Presidential Debates Commission should be charged with TREASON against the American electoral process.

They are composed of officials from the DEMON-Crat and Re-PUBICAN parties who REFUSE TO ALLOW ANY OTHER PARTIES into the debates EVEN THOI the Libertarian Party is on the ballot of EVERY STATE IN THE NATION.

Until after the RNC. There is always the possibility of a rebellion of the delegates upon whose shoulders ALONE the nomination rests. If I finish a letter to the national delegates on this matter of setting aside both the rules as well as social convention, I will post. The fact remains, at 24% republicrats, 31% democans, and 46% independent claiming, how is that working out for them. Rand Paul is the single GOP candidate possessing the clout of broad support in especially all the swing states won by Barry Soetoro!

Further, every state has buried in its law, a means of writing in a candidate, regardless of public support. They also prescribe the manner and trigger of that count. Find that law.

This year is the best in history for a grassroots write-in caused by an irate minority lighting brush fires of liberty among the people!

Johnson has acted the Trojan horse for the last 8 years, since he first ran AGAINST Ron Paul... Yes, you heard right, regardless of all the hot air in his defense, when the chips were down, he ran AGAINST Congressman Paul... not with, not for.

That is the closest thing to a Trojan horse, in the liberty movement. His positions were a ghost of the good doctor's positions at best.

But try as we might to stand for truth and all that Ron Paul fought to expose and defend, it remains in the nature of man to scrape and scratch for something digestible in the moldiest of liberty food. We tend to overlook the bubbles in the economy of liberty candidates in favor of the hope for eternal libertarian life by means of the 'quantitative easing' provided un-Paul half candidates.

How has that been working out for you? In a year the most marked in history by dissatisfaction of the grassroots, the libertarian party should have seized the moment, strategically changed their name as Bruce Fein suggested, to Liberty Party, taking away the stigma with which the mainstream neoconservatives have been able to demonize them, and run on a platform best summarized as Ron Paul or Rand Paul, heavy! Slam dunk.

No, they could not see into Ron Paul's wisdom and foresight enough to leave their mother... and instead blathered mostly like vague existential french style libertines, focused on living in a world without government, the beauties of mind bending drugs, the freedom to live an atheistic as you please life, and in general totally mistifying most of the people who just for the moment hate the two major parties and just want a safe choice! In other words, in being the same small eccentric 1 out of 100 other parties, they blew their chance. To put it in the words of the Trojan horse himself, said Johnson, "we just want to grow our 10% to 15%".

Quite frankly, the libertarian party has been gathering zero interest for a long time... tried to grow with Ron Paul folks, but simply has neither the guts to actually believe presidentially, nor the shoulders on which to rest that office, nor the interest in strategizing for that victory. For some odd reason they simply repeat the same distraction over and over.

Other than differences in some concepts of the founding and the founders, the Constitution party suffers the same fate. One who is desperate in fighting to save the Republic would think all these parties should be strategizing together... but of course that means the CFR would loose control of their puppet strings.

But IMO some sort of contested convention won by Rand would completely tarnish his name. I think he would appear to many people as an establishment nominee if elected that way...unless Trump somehow self-destructs, becomes unpalatable to the anti-establishment voters, or somehow drops out of race for unforseen circumstances. If Trump goes on to become the nominee, we can only hope that Rand somehow becomes his VP pick. However, when I really ponder the whole election...I seem to have trouble getting away from the notion that the electoral process is totally rigged and there is no possibility of a libertarian potus. The powers in control just won't allow that to happen. And if it did, I would assume that potus wouldn't live very long in office. Still, we must continue fhe fight.

What is with these Left-statist and Right-statist candidates being offered by the Libertarian Party? This really galled me after the LP put up their statement on the Hobby Lobby case. So the plague of the 'death of principle' has spread to the LP. Who's going to sent them the RIP Libertarian principles wreath, as *they* once did to the RNC?

I'm not sure I will support anyone. There is no write-in option in my state so that's out. I might vote Johnson depending on what I see from him the next few months. Picking a libertarian instead of Weld may have coaxed me to vote Johnson, but that obviously didn't happen. Im withholding my support for any candidates until I get a better picture of this shitty situation.
