Although I'm not a fan of Justice Stevens, I agree with him about Kavanaugh. President Trump could have selected a much better nominee for the US Supreme Court. Regardless, I can live with Kavanaugh on the bench rather than a nominee selected by the Marxists running the Democratic party on the US Supreme Court.

Why is it that Presidents always seem to select the crappiest nominees for the US Supreme Court? The answer is power and some entity wants to retain it even if stooping to blackmail and death. Remember Scalia's rather bizarre demise?

Seems like we are always left with the scenario of the lesser of two evils to some degree. I suppose he is what you call a compromis. Like you said, he's better than what the left wood choose.
