Donald Trump's Presidential Quest Would Not Be Possible Without Ron Paul

Trump gets all the credit, but the first guy to actually kick the GOP tires and look under their establishment hood was Ron Paul.

Being politically incorrect is now fashionable once again, and Trump gets all the credit.

Who started the trend?

Ron Paul was the most politically incorrect presidential candidate in 2012, by far. He said things that made the GOP turn, squirm and manipulate the media to the point of absurdity.

Does that sound familiar?

Trump's not getting the same blackout treatment Ron Paul did because that is impossible given his fame, but Trump reaffirms that there is no such thing as bad publicity.

Donald Trump is not the original thorn in the side of the modern day GOP.

Ron Paul helped pave the way for a GOP candidate like Trump to say the war in Iraq was a mistake.

Ron Paul helped pave the way for GOP candidates like Trump, and Cruz to say the Federal Reserve needs an audit like Washington, D.C. needs a wake up call to reality.

Ron Paul turned GOP politics inside out from 2007-2012. He helped create a revolt within the republican party that is having significant ramifications to this day.

A lot of former Ron Paul voters are now backing Trump.

Without Ron Paul, the Tea Party would have never happened, and still to this day I have never heard any mainstream pundit say that Ron Paul and the Liberty movement were the reasons why the Tea Party came in to existence.

If it weren't for Ron Paul trailblazing the path, Donald Trump would have no chance of trying to Make America Great Again.

"A lot of former Ron Paul voters are now backing Trump"

I for one know that he's a tool for the establishment. Whether the establishment actually want him to take over the puppet role remains to be seen. As the voting is rigged, "they" always get whichever puppet they want.

I can't say how many Ron Paul supporters feel this way, but i don't see many on this site who like Trump.
