If you get involved in the central committee you'll be able to influence others on the committee who might not know or understand the liberty movement. You might also meet those on your committee who are opposed to the liberty movement, so shake them up and don't be intimidated. You can help promote local liberty candidates within your county. You can help them get elected to local offices.

Most committees are desperately looking for members and if you attend several meetings and express an interest in participating you can seek to be nominated onto the committee. Once you're active on the committee you can become a state delegate and possibly a national delegate where YOU actually are the one voting for the Presidential Nominee.

As a state delegate you can vote for liberty positions and introduce the concepts of the liberty movement to others in the party and have those concepts added to the official Republican platform. Its a way to evolve the republican party from within.

Its been working in our county. But it does take effort. The establishment Republicans are somewhat resistant to change, but they are literally dying off from old age. Seriously. Its the younger and the older enlightened republicans who are making the most progress within the party.

Its my observation that there are literally no Trump supporters within the party (at least in my general area of the San Francisco Peninsula, Silicon Valley and the Central Coast of CA) and they're freaking out that he might become the nominee. The old school republicans want Rubio (but wanted Bush). I haven't come across many Cruz supporters and the majority on our committees are Ron/Rand Paul liberty activists. I have a strong suspicion its like this nationally among the other central committees and delegates. So the republican convention should be very interesting watch, and I am working on being there to participate.

We are making progress within the party. It will take time, but we are very dedicated.
