Why I will vote for Rand Paul -
I've been absent here of late, and for good reason. When Rand Paul suspended his campaign, I was deeply affected. Mind you, I followed Ron Paul from 2011 onward and was not only a repeat donor but also a supporter via letters-to-the-editor. I was where I fit best in support of Ron, and not for some reason of joining the 'popular' bandwagon of the time. I heard a message of hope, above ALL else. The first black man president; the first woman president; the first...and so on. Why do we seem to forget that skin color and gender are poor denominators for some inevitable successes by way of such human identifications.
I have talked with people who relate foremost to Sanders...mad at the 'corporate demons' and willing to STEAL in order to make one wrong a right. I find it interesting that those who are dire advocates for fairness and income equality would resort to the very thefts they oppose so adamantly. The Sander supporter may have the angst and purpose, but the reasoning is hard for me to follow. How can ou be so passionate as an anti-corporatist yet fail to understand that NOTHING is FREE! Corporations are vital to our economy and infrastructure. As I told my wife, "I'm not anti-corporation, but I am anti-corruption". This is what the Sanders supporter doesn't grasp, in my opinion.
And then we have Mr. Made-In-China himself, Donald Trump. Pay no never mind to the fact that he is self-funded, as this is a good thing. Or so he leads us to believe. Is there a difference between someone who is self-funded and someone who is funded by the establishment? Who amongst the candidates managed to self-fund their campaign, besides the nihilist? None of them. Why? A man with enough funds to see through his own visions may just be driven enough to make a reality those visions, even if unfit for our nation.
If it doesn't make you sad-in-helplessness to realize people apparently want a tinge of glisten of a bad mock-up 'Christopher Hitchens' - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HA55jGyq2C8 - when the time is opportune, then don't let the stone roll behind you before you rise to the other-world of a time long before you. Of course the Vatican has giant walls, it is a place of condemnation. It very well should have condemned it's own conspiracies when it was prudent to do so, but a church that commits in it's clergy such unspeakable acts as to afflict any being, it becomes impossible for me to cast my heart to the whims of something so complicit in dissolving it's own integrity-in-usefulness.
I think the last two weeks have been pivotal for me. As Michael Nystrom once said of me, [The Pen has a very bad attitude, a Know-It-All or a Know-Nothing]. I have rarely known much, memorized my way to a 3.68 GPA and a Graduate-With-Honors, yet even more of a rarity is my appreciation for memorization. As a frustrated college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts I too understand the devastation of a college degree. To the Sanders devotee out there I ask this of you: "Who is paying for the education you are getting for free?" Do the teachers get paid more, do they work more hours or do the colleges hire on more teachers to accommodate the students in which there are not enough classrooms to hold already? I went to college for six years and when you sit in an auditorium full of 400 students, watching your instructor draw on an overhead 60 feet away, projected onto a film canvas, you truly begin to
Free Tuition! $15 minimum wage! Sanders is Yellen! Every candidate on the stage is Pro-Federal-Reserve! Why? They are not speaking out against it! Sanders cannot legitimately speak out against the Fed when he calls for "free tuition" and increasing the minimum wage to $15/hr. Who is paying for all of this? Does anybody ask anymore? Stealing is justified to get back at the wealthy; borrowing is justified to honor the fight in spreading our failed political systems; theft is justified by seeking to make criminal the dissentive acts of the people, when their government shits on those who feed it.
Tonight is sobering. I have absolutely zero respect for the media at this point. I will not watch on when liberty is relegated to ghosts. I believe Rand's message was much greater than could be found in a seat atop the corrupt bodies below it. If things get worse, remember what you've heard that you cannot unhear. Remember that sting which liberty impressed upon you to desire it for all your neighbors and fellow beings. We are living in miraculous times, not religious in nature, but naturally so. Lift up liberty in your own communities. Our children deserve better than what we have. Our children deserve to reserve the inalienable rights their greatest of grandparents knew. If you have nothing to hide, you have very little left to give.
Peace and Love always.
