Rand Paul On The Federal Government: ‘Shut The Damn Thing Down’

DjPe5h Mon, 02/15/2016 - 11:39

Speaking at the American Spectator Gala in Washington D.C. last night, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) delighted the crowd with a strong anti-government speech.

“Everything in Washington is broken, nothing works here,” he said. “We can’t run the post office, we are not to be trusted with money. Congress is not good with money, we shouldn’t be trusted with almost any responsibility up here. Most of government should be shut down and devolved and sent back to the states.”

It's all the things the government does that are unjust, coercive, and abusive that are damnable. That we are forced at gunpoint to support the inhumanity just makes it more so. It is too d****d large, because it does too many God d****d things, including hypocritically passing off money the Founders would have seen as counterfeit, and playing favorites. (Both of which are d****able in themselves:

Deut. 1:17 “Then I charged your judges at that time, saying, ‘Hear the cases between your fellow countrymen, and judge righteously between a man and his fellow countryman, or the alien who is with him."

‘You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small and the great alike. You shall not fear man, for the judgment is God’s. The case that is too hard for you, you shall bring to me (Moses, in this case, the Supreme Court, was the Founder's solution) and I will hear it.’. Proverbs 20:10 Differing weights and differing measures,
Both of them are abominable to the LORD.)

Speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly, defend the rights of the poor and the needy.~~ Prov.30: 8 & 9

I apologize for the double post, but not the length of my previous comment. :)
