I really hope this isn't true.

I'm a big supporter of Rand, but if this is true, this is particularly disturbing to me. This comes off as a bribe and I can not picture any positive press from this. I'm hoping this is fake (considering the break-in at the NH office), but thus far, I haven't heard anything from the campaign about it and they need to squash it.

If this indeed turns out to be true, which I'm having a hard time believing that it is, does anyone here actually think this is a good idea or at the very least see nothing wrong with it? Maybe I'm looking at it all wrong, and someone can point out my erroneous view on this? Above all, I'm just hoping it's not true.

I STILL STAND WITH RAND!

If I was in college and Rand offered me a LoR for showing up at a caucus, I'd be all over it.

Think about it, he's doing these kids a favor, by getting them to educate themselves through participating in a real caucus, hence an educational component most of these kids would not have otherwise.

I can expand on this if you need me to, but I'll leave it at this...he's doing an entire generation a favor with this very original idea, to many of whom will be voting for the first time in their lives

That perspective did make me feel better. I still have a suspicion that this is fake though. The wording style on the letter just doesn't seem "right". My concern is that this is going to look like a desperate attempt at a bribe - right before the caucus no less! I sure saw it that way.

Again, I see your point, and it does make me feel better. That being said, Rand's (nor his dad) not one to sell out his faith for the "religion" vote, or blatantly fishing for the "veteran" vote like other candidates do. So I do find this letter hard to believe. For now, I'm going to side with someone fraudulently trying to tarnish Rand & the campaign, which coincidentally happened after the break-in.

Where's that? I generally watch and tweet, although tonight, I'm screen grabbing video... for what? I'm not sure yet, we'll see.

Is there a thread here? I missed it
