The media is desperate to divide Rand supporters!

The Pen Thu, 01/21/2016 - 11:33

I ran across this abysmal article this morning - http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/ron-paul-rand-paul-trump-2016_us_56a0b917e4b0d8cc1098c889 - that seeks to persuade by suggestive title that even Ron Paul 'thinks' Trump will beat Rand Paul out of the Republican nomination. The fact of the matter is Ron never states that he 'thinks' this to be true, rather gives his honest interpretation that it is a 'realistic notion'. There is a big difference between believing something to be realistic versus thinking it will become so. I am so tired of drudging through article after article hearing the dubious and still-persistent media attempting to divide what we have fought so hard for since 2007. They are kicking it into overdrive and I still remain certain that Rand will come away with Iowa, making the media once-and-for-all look like the buffoons they truly are.

I submitted a correction request to the Huffington Post as follows:

Paul looks to rein in government programs

Freeman15 Thu, 01/21/2016 - 08:02
Francis Rivera
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is looking to curb the size of the federal government by targeting redundant or wasteful programs.

Paul, a Republican presidential candidate, on Wednesday introduced two pieces of legislation that he says could help scale back spending.

One bill — backed by Republican Sens. Mike Enzi (Wyo.) and Jeff Sessions (Ala.) — would limit authorizations to four years, though lawmakers could request a longer authorization for a specific program.

Did Ron Paul Really Say Donald Trump Will Win GOP Presidential Nod?

Freeman15 Thu, 01/21/2016 - 07:47

Not really, but the folks at Breitbart and Independent Journal are hyping it that way.

That account is based on the Breitbart clip headlined "Ron Paul: Realistically, Trump Will Be Nominee."

Being a Contrarian like being a Libertarian one has to recognize that going with the herd doesn't work. It is the opposite. Always go with opposite of what others are doing. I have questioned my gut a few times in my life when opportunities showed up and I did not jump in or just went along. I live to regret it. Now, that I'm 60 I truly feel old enough to say. YEP, let's dive. Even when those around me say the opposite.

One Ring...to Rule them All!

Five days ago I made reference to the 'magnanimous ring' of the media. I was actually implying a correlation between the One Ring in The Lord of The Rings and the One Ring they are trying to give to Trump as ring-wraiths so beholden - http://occupyeducated.org/2012/05/16/six-media-companies-control-90-of-w... - in the land of fibbery.

And look what Rand is saying today:

Is this why Palin was speaking so High of Rand, Cruz on his way down?

Ron Aldof Wed, 01/20/2016 - 10:41

Image result for pick of palin and trumpWhen a candidate is going to fall other candidates want to lure that candidates supporters to their base. I feel the Trump campaign senses Cruz to be faltering. Knowing that a lot of Cruz's supporters were followers of Ron Paul, or their next pick would be Rand. They had Palin try to woe them.

Rand Paul: "Unite 'the two Americas"

ecard71 Mon, 01/18/2016 - 17:51

en. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is using Martin Luther King, Jr. Day to push for criminal justice reform to unite "the two Americas."

"Let’s commemorate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King by uniting the two Americas into one: an America that includes justice for one, and justice for all," Paul wrote in a Time op-ed on Monday.
A bipartisan group of senators has also rolled out legislation that would reduce some mandatory minimum sentences, including those for nonviolent drug offenders, while increasing mandatory minimums in other areas.

We Have Passed the Tipping Point for American Liberalism

Gary North - January 11, 2016

Every once in a while, I come across something that I find almost impossible to believe. Somebody sends me a document or a link to an article, and I am stunned.

I have just learned of an official study in the Los Angeles school district that says that, by 2020, the school district is going to be in a fiscal crisis of monumental proportions. Already, Chicago's schools are also facing this.

Rand Paul is correct when he says our debt is the biggest threat to our national security. I wish he would mention the Chinese and the new banking system they are building. With an explanation on how it will crush our economy once it gets a major foothold.

"The Chinese President Xi Jinping launched a new international development bank on Saturday in Beijing that is being seen as a rival to the US-led World Bank.
