Islamabad’s Christian Slum Dwellers Pray for Christmas Miracle
As the winter sun sets on Pakistan’s leafy capital Islamabad, residents of the city’s largest Christian slum use bicycles, donkey carts and their backs to haul jerry cans filled with water to their homes.
As a past contributor to Daily Paul and Popular Liberty, it is important to share what I feel hits directly on the condition of our current political and economic system. I have always been willing to share my tastes for music and this thread is no exception. I'm sure this type of music (Doom-Metal/Death-Metal) doesn't resonate with many, but felt it may hold some emotion and purpose for some, if only few.
I sure hope that part of the ground game for the Rand Paul campaign in Iowa and New Hampshire is to secure ways to monitor and validate the accuracy of the election process and the tallying of votes.
Remember what Stalin said, "It is not who votes that counts; but it is who counts the votes that really counts." (or something to that effect)
Anyone have any knowledge of whether this is being discussed and planned for in the Paul campaign?
I really can't believe he is going around talking this smack. Shows the childishness of his political leanings. Trying to back stab the same people he was aligned with in the last election because he has a different political outlook this time. Looks like he wants to push Rand Paul supporters away from his site. Wouldn't you say?
Feel more should go to the EX Daily Paul and explain that this site is for liberty and anything to do with it.
It would be a cool idea if we had the tree go through different seasons. I like the one we have now for the winter months, maybe with some snow on Christmas, but we could show one for the spring, summer, and fall.
Just one of those odd touches. Maybe show it on fire when really bad shit happens, not to be dramatic but it could be a useful graphic device to alert people to what going on. Kind of like how Google changes depending on what going on.
I must say that after almost four years of listening to, being confronted with and glaring at the monitor in utter disbelief at the apathy and gullibility of the American people (if the polls are remotely accurate), it seems as though the candidate most ridiculed for his methods of pursuing the presidential nomination is Rand Paul.
Polish Canadian Sufi Muslim Christian here with a few socialist bones.
evil machine hacked my computer and Michael Nystrom hates liberty and my Rand Paul activism, but I come here to educate. Just an angel trapped on this prison planet flapping my wings. I will get some good Italian wine tomorrow and write some good poetry for you.*))
Now that Graham has exited his backstage campaign, his reason in doing so will become clear soon enough. Tally the number of crushing and demoralizing articles against Graham's bid for the Black House and put them at the parallel of Paul's and his form of measurement will not extend over the horizon as does Paul's. Yet, he suspended his campaign? Now? Why not long ago?
