My wife and I cast our vote for Trump. It wasn't an easy choice for either of us but in the last months it became a logical move for our country to survive a radical alternative.

I don't know what happens now but we all must take part in this opportunity to force the Republicans to live up to their values.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte police say a pizza restaurant employee used his own handgun to shoot and kill one of three armed robbers holding up the store.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said it happened early Sunday at a Pizza Hut restaurant near Interstate 85 in west Charlotte. Detectives say the restaurant was closed and there were no customers inside.

If there's one positive thing that has come from this year's presidential election, it's that the divide between government and American citizens has been drawn for all to see. There is clearly an "us," and a "them".

What a wonderful opportunity for the ideas of Liberty.

You see, the "us" are having a rude awakening. Beliefs about government are being shattered left and right.

At approx. 9am this morning my son and I set out on one such road (trail) less traveled...and it made all the difference. I know it is cliché to say so, but is has become a literal truth in my life over this last summer to present day September 25th, 2016. After 9 miles of forest roads (gravel, large rocks and divots) we reached our destination at the roads end, Willamette National Forest, Bachelor Mountain Trailhead.
