I love the site and it keeps getting better.  One thing i notice i am doing  reading the forum threads is i end up scrolling way down there. When i am done reading i have to scroll all the way back up to go to the home page. A home button near the bottom of the pages would be sweet. When i am on other sites that have them, i find that is the link i click most often.   I am not sure if others do the same as me when browsing.

The new sections like the Liberty Library, Health & Harvest, Important Videos/Films aren't working yet, at least not for me.

They all have the same web address of www.acalltopaul.com/#

Minor issue, just wanted to give a heads up.

Keep up the great work!  Site looks beautiful, Anne.

Thank you ;-)

for me either.   Also, I see that putting "newest posts first" is on your list; that will be very nice.  Thank you!

Great job!  I would still suggest the following:

1) I feel like it's a little difficult to make a new post.  You have to choose up to 2 categories and sometimes it doesn't even feel like they apply.  Plus the categories take up a lot of screen real estate so the subject and message are far removed from each other.  I wish it were a lot simpler where we just had a subject line followed by a textarea.  I think categories should be optional.  Or maybe create a dropdown?  Or allow users to create their own tags?

2) I like having a +/- but I wish it were on the right hand side like it was in DP/PL.  The +/- on the left-hand-side really throws off the formatting.

3) I am confused at the "Video URL".  I get it confused w/ the subject line sometimes.  Any chance you can just auto-expand a video URL into the actual video (the same way it worked at PL)?

I figured that, every webmaster needs a second account. lol

But sometimes logging back and forth is time consuming.

Thanks for taking a look at it when you get caught up a bit. I was only curious how one would know?

as that name doesn't have administrative powers.

I can help if you like? I can go and temporarily block you so that you can try it? But being admin your account might over ride the block feature. Have you set up a second "user" account for testing we could use to test it?

Like I mentioned before, anytime you need help that takes two party testing like this I would be absolutely honored to help if it is needed. :)

I don't know.  We'll have to do an experiment

If I send a PM to another user and it does not show up in my "Sent" folder does this mean I am blocked by that user? I sent one to someone this morning and it gave me a "Sent Successfully" alert but I noticed it is not in my sent folder. Just curious is all. lol

What people are thinking now should be at the top of the viewers page.

In other words, this comment should be at the top instead of the bottom.

Clicking on a post and first reading a comment from 5 days ago isn't as relevant as what people think now....that's the Internet way of life.

People want to see what's recent, as in the last 24 hours if not less.

If something major happens politically, what do people want to see first?

Posts from five days ago, or the most recent post?

Just my 2 cents worth of constructive criticism.

and was going to make this suggestion myself.  I'm coming in late on the thread, but I would much prefer the new comments to come in at the top as they were on DP.  Thanks!

I'm not currently seeing an option to see older posts at the bottom of the page.  (both Android and Google Gchrome on desktop.

i think recent posts in the sidebar would be nice, kinda like you have recent comments in the sidebar. Also top posts in the sidebar would be nice as well. This keeps new and popular content from being buried in the depths of the actual forum it is listed in, at least for a little while. I don't know what happened to DP or PL, but i am glad someone created this site.

1)  Shift Over the main forum Left Margin about an inch and a half to the Left.  Maybe move the Right too?  Try for effect.  The idea would be to get it closer to how the Daily Paul margins were set up.  We've gotten used to that format for years, hard to concentrate with things center aligned.

2) My Honest Opinion...  This site reminds me too much of "The Blaze".

WAY Too many Pictures (visual fluff that just takes up space) and not enough Content Link Headings (think Drudge Report - which is awesome).

Pictures are fine sometimes.  But I'd much rather just see a link.  If I'm interested in seeing it, I'll click it and read it or view the pictures associated in the link.   ALSO, while we're on the subject of links, and another reason I HATE The Blaze...  They write catchy headlines that catch your interest and make you click and open up webpage to read Bull Crap, when they could have just said this is a link to bullcrap on the original link.  If I want to read bull crap, I'll click on it, if I don't, don't make me click on it to find out the link was bull crap.  An Example from today:  "You'll Never Guess what Wild Life Official Found Alive In Australian Waters!"  You know what it was?  I was hoping Mermaids or something cool.  Nope.  It was an article about stupid Seasnakes.  Who gives a crap?  They could have just freaking said "Seasnakes once thought extict found in Austrailian Waters" and saved me the frustration. (I know you don't control what other people post, just felt like a little rant on why the blaze sucks)

Good Luck with your Site Man!  Looking pretty good so far!  Great Job throwing it together over the past few days, and Thanks!

One thing I used to regularly click on in DP/PL was a link that showed what I had posted.  That allowed me to see if others had responded to what I wrote so I could reply back to them.  Not sure if that already exists but can it be added to the list if not?

Again, I very much appreciate this site and am grateful to you for rushing to put it together.

Apologies for nit-picking as I am very grateful to you for attempting to pick up the pieces that Nystrom (intentionally) left shattered all over the place.  But a couple of suggestions:

I have to choose a dropdown as well as a checkbox.  Plus I have to scroll down to post the actual content.  I think it would be cool to keep things very simple at first.  Not have so many forum options.  It feels a little bloated.

Also, I liked the +/- on the right hand side as it indents the content of posts, making them harder to read.

No guarantees mind you but I'm working on some of these issues.  Remember too that we have a big change coming after Christmas to make things easier for tablets and phones which will change the look somewhat so we'll have to re assess everything then.
