David Bowie passes on.....
The singer-songwriter and producer excelled at glam rock, art rock, soul, hard rock, dance pop, punk and electronica during an eclectic 40-plus-year career.
David Bowie has died after a battle with cancer, his rep confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. He was 69.
"David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief," read a statement posted on the artist's official social media accounts.

When I was a teenager, I would listen to that album over and over and over again. David Bowie was one of my idols. I really regret never having had the chance to see him in concert. So sad at his passing. Crying tears. May his soul rest in sweet peace.

Movie Labyrinth with Bowie
His role as the Troll King in the movie Labyrinth was pretty wild. I still haven't figured out if that Movie was targeted towards Children or Adults? There were some pretty spicy innuendos in one song with the underage girl who played the lead.

I wish he did more movies.
Remember he did that benefit concert appearance for 911 NYC responders? I can't find the concert footage any more (for this single song, America) but I have seen it on YouTube in years past. Anyway, here is the audio put to a video.

who can forget the 1977 duet with Bing Crosby at Christmas.....Peace on Earth....we still pray for it today.
