The Center For Disease Control is like the FDA and most other Federal Government agencies. Controlled by the largest most powerful corporations & able to do all sorts of illegal actions to take down their opponents.  Chipotle is a huge player in the fast food industry & they have the muscle to stand up to the industrial food complex...Enter CDC, an "official government agency"  set out to protect the health of the American people.  But the truth is in the name Center For Disease CONTROL.  They will control & permit some diseases to enter the marketplace.  Hence, why the strand of ecoli supposedly found in Chipotle only comes from a lab, their lab...The CDC makes me SICK-Literally.  Criminal organization.

This is the company which put Aspartame on the market which has killed or harmed the health of untold numbers of people.

You thoughts are far from crazy and I had no idea Chipolte had even dissociated itself from GMO foods.

If Chipotle goes down then there are no non-GMO fast food restaurants out there (for the moment, at least).  That would prevent other fast food companies from seeing a "before and after" profit margin.  If Chipotle cut out GMOs and then had a huge profit, you can bet others would follow.  If they are undercut by food poisoning then it will be covered up.  I absolutely think there could be something to this.  The incentive for very powerful companies to pull this off is obvious.

This is another reason I'm "less than thrilled" w/ Mike Nystrom btw.  We need to get word out about stuff like this and DP/PL had a lot of readership.  Now we're a scattered movement that is trying to build itself back up to a level that previously existed until he "sunk the ark" (as he put it).  Such a foolish decision IMO.
