Is 2016 the Year of the Beast?

LOL the beast has been hiding right before 10 and right after 8 since the world was created 3000 years ago

Is the last person I would trust to have insight into the world. I whole heartedly believe he was the child that didn't get enough attention at home and created the Church of Satan as a way to get that attention. Even if you don't believe in Numerology, he seems to twist it around to meet his needs. There is always a positive and negative side to everything.

from adding the digits in a multiple of '9" in base 10. In base 5, for instance, the digit "4" has this same property. Of course, in base 5 there is no digit "9", but, for instance in hexadecimal, the digit "9" exists but does not have this property of multiples.

As I do not believe either God or Satan is intimately tied to base 10 arithmetic, the digit "9" probably has no special significance to either of them.

Misdirection is a funny thing.

The number of the beast is six hundred and sixty six, not 6+6+6. If you change the number it's no longer the beast! If you withdrew $666 you wouldn't be happy if the ATM spewed out $9, now would you?

The number 9 is the number of Brahma according to Hindu cosmology. Is Anton secretly guiding his followers to worship Brahma? LOL

All I know is that I'm watching the years 2017 through 2019 very closely.

Very interesting topic! I think this boils down to background, perspective and ideals of faith. Both positive and negative ideals seem to be applied to the number 9 depending on which camp you come from or support. :)

I do know there are those that ritualistically use the symbolic nature of dates as well as celestial events to time evil deeds.   Some people believe they get power from it.

I don't think this is necessarily "year of the beast" but its in the realm of possibility that certain particularly evil people may try to use the numerology of the calendar to commit atrocities.

I think one of the things that keeps people asleep among the public is that people are generally good.  And to imagine there might be someone in the government that is actually destructive and evil seems beyond their world view.  Every war since the dawn of man has shown what men are capable of.  There is no reason to believe that we are immune to the likes of Hitler, Stalin, Mao, or Pol Pot.  People have not changed.  We just like to believe they have. People will always have the potential for great good but also great evil.
